The participation of the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta aimed to actively encourage reading habit in children and young people. It was the first time that the daughters of the Kings appeared in public. The two sisters were in charge of reading various fragments of the first chapter of the most important novel in literature. The reading was started by the poet Joan Margarit and then, Leonor and Sofia took part.

Poised and confident girls. Brief, but well done!
'Journalism' in Spain has feasted on the silliest examples to claim that their mother is overprotective and controlling (she meets with their tutors once or twice a month/ or, no personal phones). It seems that the parents are trying to cultivate an image of them as serious, cultured, and educated. Ana
