Prince Albert and Princess Charlene are supporting the Monaco Red Cross's campaign

The Monaco Red Cross started an online fund raising campaign for the purpose of providing financial support to International Red Cross Red Crescent in the fight against Covid-19. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene donated 430.000€ to the campaign. The Prince's Palace was illuminated with a blue light to pay tribute to caregivers and people who are on the front line in the fight against Covid-19.

This support campaign born in the USA at the start of the pandemic is called "Light It Blue" and lighting well-known buildings and monuments with blue light is involved in the campaign. The lighting campaign aims to deliver a unified “thank you!” to those who are risking their own health to help people during the ongoing crisis.

  1. Un message des plus simples mais le palais éclairé est superbe.. Albert a l'air d'avoir la forme ; j'aurais bien aimé un petit sourire même discret de la part de Charlène !

    3. Anon 1:08 This is not the moment for comments like this. We all get it. This comes up every time. She does not give huge smiles on command. For whatever reason, that is the situation and we don't know what is behind it. I cannot understand why it is so difficult to focus on the importance of the message behind these pictures instead of picking on Charlene.

  5. To me it looks as if she wanted to show she has a problem, minimalist hairstyle, soberness on all sides.

  6. Love the colour of the top she's wearing. Would be nice to see more photos. So happy to see Princess Charlene out and about. The International Red Cross Red Crescent has over 80 million voluntary people in its worldwide network and does a lot of important work when disasters hit.

  9. For those of you who can only comment on Princess Charlene's smile its getting old!!! Some people have a social smile and its very easy for them. I have seen photos of her with a huge smile on her face when she is with her family and teaching children to swim where she seems to be in her element. It is obvious she is shy in public, comment on her clothes or her charities for I am sure she is a lovely person.....Let it go!!!
