On December 19, 2019, as part of their Christmas visits, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene visited patients in the orthopedic and trauma service of the Princess Grace Hospital and presented the traditional Christmas gifts to them. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène also met with the personnel of the hospital. |
Teasing us with some light colours and a hint of a smile 💕
ReplyDeleteI wish the dress was shorter and no black coat
Wearing a long dress is not appropriate for such a visit.
ReplyDeleteHer visit to the hospital 3 days ago she wore an extremely short dress, now the total opposite, she needs to find balance and not take it personally when criticised

Magnifique couple et ma princesse superbe
ReplyDeleteIndeed, well said. Mars
DeleteCharlene with a gentle expression is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIn my view, both Charlene and Mathilde made the wrong choice for theses two last events, too overdressed. Why a long dress? These visits are typically events for wearing trousers. I think the residents would feel more relaxed.
ReplyDeleteCan't see much of Charlene's frock (dress) so can't give a yes or no comment on it. >I'm so happy to see the couple working together again. Albert looks like the cat that's just drank all the milk (or the cat that got the cream).
ReplyDeleteDivina!!
ReplyDeletePerfecta de pies a cabeza
BA.
Like all! In my mind i feel she is pregnant? -Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteYou know Dorothe now that you mention it, she has been wearing loose fitting clothing a lot lately ... I can't remember the last time (within recent months) I saw her in something tightly fitted at the waist. Hmm.
DeleteEuropa.
Yes we have seen some loose clothing, but recently some tightly fitting one as well (the recent Louis Vuiton suit). So I doubt. But some health problems, even minor, might well be the case, during the no-show period. But the recent visits might well be communication exercise...
DeleteNot my favorite look for Charlene, but what I do like is seeing her with some facial expressions. It is nice to see her out and about with Albert.

I agree totally. Albert looks so warm and friendly. Looks like he really enjoys these visits and they come from the heart. I think Charlene has heart too but she is just more softly spoken and not gregarious.
DeleteBetter that Albert should have worn no tie at all. Horrible knot and the tie is crooked. Men's ties are my bugaboo. Keep them straight with a proper knot or "knot" at all. Daniel of Sweden has the worst knot of all. Ties... grrrr. *Rose*
ReplyDeleteSo glad she did this event. Nice dress but maybe too long? Albert and Charlene look lovely together. Happy Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteThere's something wrong.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can see, I like the dress. It's a lovely soft pink. I wonder what the top of it looks like without the jacket.

The colours of the dress are lovely, but I agree it’s too long. What an odd choice for a hospital visit. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful visit, very uplifting for the patients and staff. Lovely to see the couple out and about. Charlene looks engaging and interested.
ReplyDeleteShe makes such weird sartorial choices. Almost like shoe intentionally wants to be ‘against the grain’. Too short one day, full gown-length next time. None of which I particularly like, even ignoring how inappropriate for the occasion they are. The only one I quite liked (except for the weird long necklace) was the purple Loro Piana dress&coat combo.

Well yes, you make your point. I can only assume from your comments that she is a total failure? The solution could be a one way ticket back to the bush in Rhodesia (now known as Zimbabwe) where she was born.
