This is a rare Letizia miss for me. The suit fits well but the placement of the feathers ruins the whole look. Her earrings are gorgeous though. Felipe looks handsome and the girls are well dressed. I like the bow detail of Sofia's dress.

She has spoken in 4 languages so school goes great.
حذفThis has been a busy month for them but most of the time the girls are out of the limelight. This was Leonor’s first time presenting here and at the Princess of Asturias Awards. The King & Queen cleared their calendar on last Friday it is assumed they enjoyed a nice 3 day weekend as a family to celebrate Leonor’s birthday.
حذفThe princesses dresses are beautiful and once again Leonor's has the edge. She looks fantastic in this great red outfit but I love Sofia's white dress as well. The Queen's outfit is okay but nothing great, certainly not up to her usual level of stylish. I wonder if she deliberately chose black to allow her daughters to shine?

حذفI think this is the first time I've ever liked feathers on an item of clothing. Without them, this exquisitely-tailored outfit would be too plain; with them it hits just the right note, imo. While the monochrome palette and subdued jewelry ensure that the princesses shine brightest, Letizia rocks everything about this look, right down to the elegant satin clutch. Fabulous.

ردحذفI read in the news that there were demonstrations in Barcelona against the royal family and their visit. Leonor was certainly aware about it and that must have been an additional stress for her. Poor girl.

It is not a exposure, it is the debut of Leonor as a Princess if Asturias and Girona as her father did at same age. They are royals so they need to act as that. In Spain we do not have spongers strolling around.

Anonymous @ 6:53, I am dumbfounded about your comment, you must not follow the Spanish Royal Family very much, these girls have lead very private lives, in fact they have appeared in front of the press on very limited occasions. Queen Letizia has been vilified and accused of hiding her daughters by all kinds of trolls and the tabloids, oftentimes compared to other European families. I remember reading about how she should follow the example of queen Sofia, and allow more press access to her children.... I admire both parents for staying true to their beliefs and not succumbed to the pressure, now the time has come for the heiress to start her public life, and all of a sudden you think that is too much?? Really some people always have to find the negative...

حذفThe pantsuit is well constructed and fits superbly. The feathers add interest. High fashion is never meant conform. There must be some feature to differentiate it from the sameness of day to day styling. The girls are quite poised, dressed age appropriately and a credit to their parents. A thousand compliments to the mother who has taught the family to speak well in public. Hopefully it is back to school because there are many years of formal education still left to conquer. -B.
