Queen Margrethe held a press conference about 'The Snow Queen'

On November 19, 2019, Queen Margrethe of Denmark held a press conference about the new ballet, 'The Snow Queen' in the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen. Queen Margrethe is the ballet's costume and stage decoration designer, which she has done eight times before with Tivoli. The music is produced by electropop singer and song writer, Oh Land (Nanna Øland Fabricius), and Yuri Possokhov is the choreographer.

The ballet is a new interpretation of the fairy tale "The Snow Queen", written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. The snow queen will premiere on December 1, 2019 in the Tivoli Concert Hall.

  4. Joann - You all have probably read this elsewhere, but it has been said that if the Queen had not been born to her role, she would have had a significant career as a designer. She is a talented artist and I'm impressed that she manages to use her talent while performing duties as a Queen. She is amazing.
