King Harald & Queen Sonja hosted Afternoon Tea at Royal Palace

On November 26, 2019, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted Afternoon Tea for elderly voluntary workers at the Royal Palace. Princess Astrid attended Afternoon Tea too. In 1905, Queen Maud brought the British tradition "Afternoon Tea" to the Palace. King Harald and Queen Sonja carry on the tradition of Afternoon Tea and in this way, they want to honor the voluntary efforts made by active senior citizens across the country.
