| On the second day of their state visit to Luxembourg, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium held a gala concert at Philharmonie Luxembourg. The concert was developed by the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in collaboration with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Grand Duke Henri, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg attended the Gala Concert in Luxembourg. Queen Mathilde wore a new embroidered dress by Natan. The Hereditary Grand Duchess wore a new metallic embroidered chiffon caftan gown by Oscar de la Renta. (Grand Duchess Maria Teresa could not attend these kind of events during that visit since she underwent a knee operation. She rests at home.) |

I am normally not a fan of Stephanie's fashion choices, but I like this one; she looks comfortable and yet festive. I can really see this caftan for a summer beach party or similar, but why not also for a concert. And the hair an makeup, perfect! I think that I would have preferred Mathilde's dress in the original short version, but it is kind of fun and she also tops it with nice hair, so I say; well done both ladies! And the men all look handsome.

ردحذفStephanie sieht umwerfend aus! Ihre Haare finde ich nicht ganz optimal, vorne toll, aber hinten könnten sie lockerer sein, aber vielleicht täuscht das auch aus diesen Ansichten. Aber das Kleid ist super schön und es steht ihr fantastisch!! Gut gemacht! Queen Mathildes Kleid ist schön, aber es gibt in meinen Augen noch schönere. Ihre Haare sind toll gemacht. Insgesamt beide Damen sehr königlich

ردحذفStephanie nailed it. Hair and make- up looks great. The dress is a beautiful vibrant color and was properly tailored to her frame. Guillaume looks the best I have seen him look in quite some time too.

ردحذفWhether they are a hit or a miss, I'm just so happy to see the changes Stephanie has been suddenly experimenting with during this royal visit. Something makes me suspect that they may not all be of her own choice (to change) or her satisfaction of the outcomes, but wherever it comes from, I give her full credit for at least attempting some thing different over the past few days. Change is good. This outfit for me is a hit. She looks happy and comfortable and I think she feels it. I also like her hair style here. Because she is not as tall as the model, I think it was a good idea not to have it trail on the ground. My one quibble is that the embroidery would have looked better had it been more narrow at the top and tapered sooner and lower. Still, she looks very good.

Mathilde looks beautiful, and Stephanie looks wonderful! I like Mathilde's dress, glam but not over the top. I really like the bright colors she has been wearing lately, very striking for her. She has really upped her game since Morocco. She just looks more vibrant and engaged.

ردحذفQueen M looks stunning. The flow of the design in the fabric, de-emphasis her high waistline, giving her a 'longer/leaner' look. I like the longer version of the dress, as it enhances the flowing of the design. Her hair is beautiful as well. Stephanie looks lovely as usual, though I am wondering if she is with child, with the looser, more flowing wardrobe lately.... JT

A very nice Oscar de la Renta gown for Stephanie also the color looks great on her. This gown by Natan Q Mathilde is wearing looks very refined. I like it. The jewelry is beautiful.

ردحذفI do not like Mathilde's dress, it looks to me like a bunch of tangled cables, that being said, she looks regal and statuesque.
These photos have convinced me that Stephanie has, indeed, deepened the color of her hair to a lovely caramel brown, and -- as a longtime fan of her red-gold locks -- I am hugely impressed by the extent to which this subtle change has enhanced her natural beauty. I think that she has adjusted her makeup as well, and the definition this has given to her features is just spectacular. Her beautiful rose-pink gown is a standout, but now, suddenly, for me the focus is shifting from what the clothes do for Stephanie, to what she does for the clothes! Brava!! -- and color me gobsmacked.
ردحذفMathilde’s dress is superb once again and fits her perfectly. With the impressive updo she is the epitome of elegance. Her choices on this visit have been great. Stephanie is also looking good again but for me there is only one winner here tonight.
