I believe she has worn that dress before and I liked it. The jacket or covering or whatever it is, is interesting, but not with a 'V' neckline underneath. It would look better with something with a higher neckline underneath.

I very much like the "cape," but, like Anon 9:13, it might look better if worn with a straight or higher neckline underneath. I think the black and white print dress would look better with a straight hemline. But, it is nice to see the Duchess wear something a bit different.

Agree, the little cape looks like part of an academic gown, or something a clergyman would wear. Black isn’t her colour either. Oh well, no one gets it right all of the time! (V.M.)
