| On October 15, 2019, Tuesday, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway arrived at the Frankfurt Book Fair. The Crown couple were welcomed by Juergen Boos, the President of the Book Fair, and Heinrich Riethmüller, chair of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. Afterwards, Crown Princess Mette-Marit officially opened the Frankfurt Book Fair 2019. Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, authors Karl Ove Knausgård and Erika Fatland, and artist Elle Márjá Eira were present at the official opening ceremony. a very flattering and beautiful dress for MM. No nonsense with a twist. Haakon shows perfectly, that men can wear modern, slim cut suits without ridiculing themselves. Well done and take a good look, Heiko Maas!

Mette Mait sieht gut aus in puristischen Kleidern. Ihr hübsches Gesicht und das blonde Haar reichen als Glam-Faktor.

Blue suits her beautifully and she really is in her element surrounded by books. Nice to see Haakon knowing his place a couple of paces behind his wife at this event. :) She looks perhaps a bit tired here, though. Hope everything is allright -- or as allright as it can be with her illness. -- Suzy
ردحذفNorwegian press have mentioned that the trip is a bit hard on her health and that she is exhausted. Haakon have had to step in several times to take over for her and she cancelled an evening event. MM sets up a brave face, but she is not as healthy as photos show. As they say themselves they have to make sure she gets rest during the day. We have seen her cough and look extremely tired during the trip.

ردحذفHa! - and they nice and shiny, his suit fits well and isn't blue, for once, and the trousers aren't stuck tightly to his legs. He should get his cousin from Denmark to try a new look, too. Mette Marit finally has the correct fit on top and she looks divine!

حذفNavy blue and blonde hair work so well together, it´s really a great colour for her. The dress is pretty, clean lines, flattering shape, simple design with the sleeve shape adding a bit of interest. She looks good.

A beautiful simple yet well designed dress. The princess looks chic, happy and just lovely. Please take into account her ill health and view as I do someone who is well dressed and a lovely representative for her country.
ردحذفGood to see, that Mette Marit is fit again. She skipped some appointments in Germany because of her health, the norwegian court said, with her illness she has good and bad days, that's the reason. (read it in german newspapers). So I'm happy to see her fit here :-)

My OCD (jk, i don't have it, but still...) can't handle the asymmetry of those stripes. Can't stand asymmetrical clothing in general, but this dress is lovely and fits her well!:)
