They have produced a pamphlet and gone on radio and print to try to combat this. I think mainly in reference to children but also generally. There is a definite need for it. Maxine

حذفmonty is absolute proof that hate is everywhere. Especially on the Internet. Some people just have nothing nice to say. And then they say it over and over and over. And at least this couple are trying to do something rather than spread hate. They have chosen to support this cause because of the online hate and bullying directed at them over the course of their time together as well as before they got married. I believe Carl Philip said he was relentlessly bullied as a result of his dyslexia. So your comments seem kind of petty, honestly. Bless your heart. Diana

I've been wondering about the message too, Coralie. I tried to translate the original Swedish to English, like it's written above, but couldn't find a better clue. I'd have chosen a better statement, but it's their choice and if it works, it's fine.

And I don't want to sound picky, but I do not like the crossed arms, especially not on a official photograph that is shared with the whole world. It looks a bit offensive or defensive. But that's my opinion ;-)

Agree!! I totally think Carl Philip and Sofia were on board with the royal changes. This frees their children up to do whatever they want in life. They can earn their own salaries without restrictions like their father and mother and study where they want. I would be so excited for them. They are still in the line of succession. Carl Philip and Sofia stay the same, also. As they have their separate and joint patronages and their foundation. It all sounds good to me.
