Princess Benedikte of Denmark received exchange students

As in previous years, on September 26, Princess Benedikte of Denmark received exchange students from Greenland and their Danish hosts from Gentofte municipality, at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. The Greenlander exchange students came from Tasiilaq School in Sermersooq. They live with Danish families in Gentofte Municipality. On September 24, Princess Benedikte attended the opening of the exhibition "The second Golden Age" at the Hirschsprung Collection in Copenhagen.

On September 24, 2019, Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the opening of the exhibition "The second Golden Age" at the Hirschsprung Collection in Copenhagen. The exhibition presents works by the painter Johan Ludvig Lund (1777-1867). Johan Ludvig Lund was a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has probably taught several well-known Danish golden age painters.

  1. Why is she sitting in front of the rest of the audience?
Is this something she insists on or are the
    organizers to blame.

  7. She always looks so gracious. These simple well-fitting suits look wonderful on her. I particularly like the interesting earrings and brooch she wears with the first outfit. (V.M.)

    1. I think they are from Greenland and thus a nod to the home of the exchange students.
