King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended a gala concert at Gothenburg Concert Hall

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended a gala concert performed by Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra at Gothenburg Concert Hall. The concert was led by conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel and held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of The World Childhood Foundation. The World Childhood Foundation was founded by Queen Silvia in 1999. The foundation aims to prevent violence and sexual abuse of children and supports local projects in Sweden and abroad. All revenues gained from the gala concert will go to The World Childhood Foundation.
