The traditional children's parade was greeted by Norwegian Royal Family

Norwegian Royal Family attended this year's traditional children's parade. Firstly, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, their children Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus welcomed with their national costumes the children's parade outside of their residence, Skaugum in Asker. Afterwards, the parade was greeted by Norwegian Royal Family from the balcony of the Royal Palace. Norwegian Constitution which declared independence of the country was signed on May 17, 1814. This date is Norway's National Day and it is a national holiday.

So nice to see CPss MM at the National Day Celebrations. She looks good.Everyone on the Balcony. Pss Ingrid has grown up a lot so Prince Sverre. Sadly no Martha Louise and children,or Pss Astrid. Well maybe a little later more pics will come out.

Martha Louise is on a tour with her self proclaimed shaman boyfriend.
They've been doing the rounds on Norwegian television shows, professing their love and posting on Instagram about how happy she is.
      Its absolutely ridiculous.
I can't believe the Norwegian royal family haven't put a stop to it.
They're even going to London and doing some kind of "spiritual workshop".

Martha Louise has always been a bit odd, her former husband was controversial too.

Astrid was as she always is, in the Window next to the balcony this year with her own son and Ingrid, her sisters daughter. Probably the hole family. Since they have a big family luncheon after the parade. ML was also at the palace with Derek. The rule is that only the CP, his family and Q and K are on the balcony. This is and have always been the norm. And ladies try to behave or are you trying to show us how low you can go...

Anonymous 2:18 you don't have the right to tell someone how to behave.
No one is trying to "go low".
This is exactly the problem people keep complaining about on this blog. You can't make a comment and voice your opinion without someone trying to police what you say. It's seriously getting out of hand.

If you are hurt because you can't be nasty. It says alot about you as a person. We should start behaving as adult and be a good role model for our kids. Do we really have such a low self esteem that we need talk royals down. Nastiness like that just backfires back on our selves. We learned as children how to behave, we learned on Sunday school to treat everyone the same way we want to be treated. We tell our kids to behave, be kind, not bully and stand up for the little man so why can't we do the same ourselves?

Anonymous 10:34 who's exactly being bullied? Someone stated that it was ridiculous that Martha Louise was going about with her boyfriend the way she was. No rude or "nasty" comments about their looks, clothing, hair, etc.
I agree, their behavior is odd. You took it upon yourself to become the morals police telling people to behave.
No one was being mean or making low comments. You just felt the need to take offense, for some strange reason.

Nice day for the family in their native dress. Does anyone know if the dogs are their family dogs? For me, they stole the show!

  3. Lovely Norwegian Royal family, Harald V the King of Nowrway and the heirs. Handsome Prince Sverre Magnus takes clearly after him and his sister looks like Queen Sonja and yes as well like their parents. They are a very interesting family with their interests in literature, sports, sailing and ..

Ingrid is such a beauty! And she seems very relaxed during public engagements. Her parents have done a great job!

I'm really touched to see Mette Marit looking so good here. I know what it is to have a life threatening incurable disease, I hope that they are all coping well with it, her children are still so young.

  8. They are! They are so adorable. Their names are Milly Kakao (the black one) and Muffin Krakebolle (the grey one). Muffin made the headlines when he ran away to have his own adventure one day when the royal family was out skiing. He returned on his own a hours later though luckily.

  9. It looks like the lovely Ingrid Alexandra followes that "strong dark eyebrow"- fashion. Please, don't!
The Queen is perfection, again. Never a fashion faux-pas and so beautiful in her age!

    1. I agree to all of it. The princess used to be a natural beauty. Why spoil it with those dark eyebrows. The Queen is elegant and beautiful as always!

MM was wearing a lovely very flattering I think new blue coat on the balcony. She also had to take a break. So she was gone for quite a while. Considering what she have said herself about getting exhausted and taking it day by day. We can read between the lines that she is probably worse than we know.

  11. I suspect that Sverre Magnus refused to be seen in public in knee breeches. He's that age :-D.
