Smart look.
ReplyDeleteI like this! So chic and elegant. Only quibble would be the outfit-to-occasion match (or mismatch), as this seems a bit somber for the season and a bit sober for the occasion (maybe something more festive than this business look had been better for a prize giving). But still a very nice outfit.
ReplyDeleteGood outfit, did not 'outshine' the award winners.
ReplyDeleteDid this event take place in the fall? The whole colour scheme seems autumn like to me, from the flowers to the clothes. Very elegant, but out of season.
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold in Sweden. So no they're not "out of season".
DeleteBeautiful pictures of these different ladies, each of them in her own style!
ReplyDeleteToo dark for the spring time. Also those big curls again...its boring to see them all the time. With her narrow face she would rock lob or bog hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteSo negative towards such a lovely woman
DeleteTotally agree with you . Time for a new hair style.
DeleteShe is regularly changing somehow her hair style. She should certainly not go a revolutary change! Difficult to do better than this in my view. Why are you not saying the same for Mary (DK)? I hope you are not thinking of short hair.
DeleteI love her hair!! She looks good as she is. And she is still young--early thirties. She would look good in a bob or shorter style also, but I am no rush for her to go there yet. She does change around the length and color. Lots of royal women have had the same style and color for years.
DeleteI don't think the outfit is too dark for spring time. Lots of people wear black in the midst of summer season and I don't mind it. I actually wear a lot of black too, even in July or August ;-) And I also like this outfit.
DeleteAbout the hair: I would like to see it parted at the side and not in the middle. In my opinion, a side parting suits her face better. But that's me.
I wear black year round. And it is fine to do so. My mom used to say, if in doubt, wear black. Ha! She looks happy and healthy. People around her have on black also. She is fine.
DeletePrincess Sofia is a natural beauty and she looks good as always and by the way she is successful.
DeleteLove this look!!!! She looks so professional and elegant. And yes, it is definitely still cold in Sweden. So nice of her to step in for the Queen.
ReplyDeleteThis is a repeat dress/suit I believe and I loved it the first time also. She can get a lot of use out of this outfit. The style is wonderful and very versatile. Nice look for her!!!
ReplyDeleteWhile there is nothing wrong with this dress, it looks nice. But I've always felt it looks too old for Sofia.
ReplyDeleteI think it's better suited for a woman 40+
I agree. It's a nice dress, but it looks too mature on Sofia.
DeleteI'm not sure why, maybe the color or style. But something about it looks too old on her.
It's gives me a business type vibe. Like it'll look great on a woman working in a corporate office of some type.
I like her dress today. She is professional and does her job well. She also have a winning smile I would say.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great, chic and very nice hair. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe looks fantastic! The suit is not too old for her. Loved it on her both times she has worn it.
