Dutch Royal Family attended a dinner at the Italian consulate in Seville

Dutch Royal Family arrived in Seville on May 09 to attend April Fair 2019. That was at the same time the 20th anniversary of the meeting of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. Thus, on the 20th anniversary of their meeting, The King and The Queen returned to Seville together with their daughters. Yesterday evening, Dutch Royal Family, that is, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, Princesses Catharina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane attended a private dinner at the Italian consulate in Seville.

      ah ah If Victoria were wearing that dress, she would most likely be critised. For me the same comment as earlier I am fed up with floral dresses.

      The flower dresses are currently in fashion .... I personally think fresh colors, just flowers, in the summer very nice. In winter I can do without flower patterns very well.

    The oldest's dress is too old for her, the youngest's too young for her. How can she sit in something that short? Maxima meh....

      I agree the older girls dress and shoes are too old for her - look like a handmedown from Mum. However I think the younger girls dress is age appropriate and not too short. She is only a young teenager. Maxima looks elegant. All of them look overwhelmed and want to get inside as quickly as possible.

    Catharina-Amalia looks very pretty, she's really growing up. I find Maxima's dress a bit dark compared to the spring dresses the girls are wearing but she looks fine. Ariane looks sweet in her dress, wish there were a clearer pic of Alexia's dress.

    How nice the whole Family together. I like Amalia's dress very much, not so much from Alexis and Ariane.Like the top of Maximas dress from what one can see anyway.

    The younger girls, Alexia and Ariane, are dressed age appropriately. Amalia is dressed too old for her age. It is unfortunate that she is wearing hose and pumps. If she had bare legs and a sandal of any height, she would have looked younger. She seems to be following Maxima's lead with the earrings, which is another unfortunate choice.

    I agree with Franny. I love Catharina-Amalia's dress , shoes and earrings. I think she looks great. I also like Ariana's dress but less convinced by Alexia's which looks dull. Maxima's is okay but her hair is nice. I agree that they don't look very festive, but they are mostly not looking at the camera so I wonder if they were unaware that the photos were being taken or not expecting to be photographed at that point.

    The girls all look beautiful, especially Catharina-Amalia. The makeup suits her and I love the red shoes and earrings with the dress. She is growing up. A little glimpse into a future queen’s developing style ;-)

    I don’t know how appropriate it is to criticise such young ladies’ outfits, especially since they’re still developing their dress sense and it can’t be easy to always find the perfect dress for all the occasions they’re expected to attend. It seems harsh and unnecessary to criticise their outfits and their outward appearance. Adults on the other hand are fair game.
