Nice color, but nothing too special. Victoria like's it and that is the main thing, no one else has to.

Why not be comfortable when you're out walking. I think the white runners look fine with the dress. This is what a lot of women would wear on their way to/from work and then change into their appropriate inside shoes. It's what I did. Thanks.

    2. Up here in Victoria, Canada many women go to work in similar trainers with their flowing dresses and skirts and change into stylish shoes then at lunch put their trainers back on and go for their power walks. I used to do it tho my trainers weren't as nice.
I think you have to dress for what's right for you because if you're not comfortable in what you are wearing it shows with the body language you give off.

Yes true, Anon 9:48. This is a working dress and professional women commuting into the city would wear this with trainers until they get get to the office when they change into other shoes. And the reverse when going home. Very common in my city as well, and I see this every day for years now. That also speaks to the versatility of the dress, and in the name of comfort and professionalism I agree and think it's a very appropriate dress for Victoria. Everything doesn't always have to be designer or ultra chic. Simple and clean is always in style at any time.

If is absolutely not true, that trainers are only for sport. They are the new heels or ballerinas. And I am very glad for that!
