Beatrice, Pierre Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra attended Alberta Ferretti Cruise20 fashion show

On May 18, 2019, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi attended Alberta Ferretti Cruise 2020 Collection's fashion show held at Monaco Yacht Club in Monte Carlo. The event was also attended by Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon of the two Sicilies with their two daughters. (Beatrice Borromeo wore a lace embroidered maxi dress by Alberta Ferretti. Princess Alexandra's dress was the dress that had been worn by Charlotte Casiraghi in 2005.)

  1. This one of the best dresses I've seen all year, the color, the delicate fabric, and the superb styling, the satin belt totally changes the looks of a somewhat negligee silhouette into a smashing gown. Hair and complements on point as usual.
Alexandra's dress should have stayed in the closet, along with the animal print scarf.

  4. Beatrice Borromeo dress's is very elegant but I don't think it is a proper outfit for such an event otherwise, Charlotte dress although proper it doesn't look very nice to me.And Princess Caroline, looks perfect to me.

    1. Princess Caroline was not present for this event, nor was Charlotte Casiraghi. The pictures showing them were taken during a different occasion many years ago just to show that Princess Alexandra re-used Charlotte's dress from back then.

    2. Did Princess Alexandra wore her sister's dress simply wrong? Strange.
The Feretti dress of Beatice Borromeo Casiraghi is simply stunning, for me one of the rare real beautiful creations.
Miss Eva Longoria's outfit is, well, let's say, no, words fail me...

Seriously! That lady didn't wear a shirt under her white blazer. Some people do anything for attention. There is such a thing as showing too much that is not attractive.

If you wear shirt with pants suit- it's more business than evening look. Without shirt it's more evening "daring" look.

Beatrice always looks perfect ❤, Monaco is lucky for have her, love the dress.
Alex looks pretty but wearing Charlotte's hand me down dress, not a good idea cause we are going to compare the two, Charlotte wore is better.

Agree about Beatrice in all points. In my humble opinion Alexandra looks very much like Caroline in profile and you can see that. She is not her sister but she is a beauty of her own, if you are sensible for her feminin charisma and elegance.

    2. i did say 'Alex looks pretty' and the comparison is too the dress and not her looks to her sister. you are the one saying that, Daah!

Beatrice has this "blue blood" inside her. Such a lady!

  8. Beatrice is just sheer elegance. What a beautiful dress. I like the colour of Princess Alexandra's dress but the neckline is odd--it looked better the way Charlotte wore it (well done to them for recycling it, though)

    1. She isn't "pauvre" - no need to make comparisons, she is her own person.

    4. Really Anon 7:09? You can tell from that phrase the comparison wasn't between the sisters? Why mention Alexandra and not the dress?

It's not second hand - it's a dress belonging to her sister. You make it sound like she's gone and bought a rag that's been worn thousands of times before. They often share clothes in Princess Caroline's family. You may find it in poor taste but it strikes me as being eminently sensible, especially given just how non-environmentally friendly the fashion industry.

  10. Wow -- Beatrice's dress is just stunning. Utterly. Ravishing. I love it both with and without the belt, but the belted version definitely is appropriate for a wider range of occasions than the other. Beltless, the dress is rather like a romantic gown you'd find on a medieval heroine in a dreamy Pre-Raphaelite painting.

  11. Beatrice looks stunning - what a dreamy romantic dress. Beautiful colour.

Alexandra is blossoming into a pretty young woman but this is not the dress for her (I never liked it on Charlotte either). The colour is lovely but I don't like the nightie/beach vibe and the fit (or lack thereof) - it would have looked slightly better if she had worn it like Charlotte instead of with the bit across the neck, like a garotte. Anyway, kudos to them for sharing clothes like sisters do.

The lady in the white plunging suit is Eva Longoria, a famous American actress, producer, and director. She recently had a baby at age 43, so maybe she is proud to show off her post-baby figure. Her earrings are very interesting and flattering.

    1. "DAS desperate housewive" excuse me, but now what: wrong German, wrong English? And "Handmedown"? You mean, Charlotte Casiraghi lent that dress her little sister?
