Wow.. I never thought I'd ever say this but I think I might just like Beatrices dress more that Kate's. It's a very hippie 70s style with the widening tiers below the waist and while there's nothing wrong with that, I feel she could have done better with something more modern; I do prefer the version of it that she wore to the BAFTA awards in 2017 and the way she wore it there. Off-the-shoulder sexy then and more mature/conservative (?) look now.

Princess Beatrice looks lovely;her partner looks handsome. Kate is happy smiley, dress pretty suits her slim figure;she doesn't look frumpy.
ردحذفLove love love it! Hair, jewelry and the gown... awesome. The tight-fitting bodice and the voluminous skirt gives it a ball gown look. I also prefer the sleeves and this neckline above the version from the BAFTA'S. To me, it looks more regal and sophisticated. Bravo Kate! Her attitude and warmth are great as always.

حذفagain no coat? no scarf? I am freezing when looking at her, and others before. I guess she has 2 tops interchangeable. I prefer the one with short sleeves.

ردحذفI for one think it has been modified. I'm not a seamstress and I have really no idea how they manage it because it's a difficult and delicate thing to do. But we also have seen modified dresses on Diana, Maxima and Beatrix. So it is certainly possible. They definitely deliver an excellent piece of work, it's almost an art! Glad it's not my job though ;-)

ردحذفI really like Eugenie's dress. Nice colour and and very well fitting model on her.
ردحذفKate´s had the neckline of that dress changed, and it´s a huge improvement. Much better than both the original designer´s version and that off-shoulder one with those weird slim straps that looked very wrong. Now, the bodice of the dress is much more balanced, but I still don´t like the skirt. I don´t get that line around her hips. It´s the weirdest placement, and it just unnecessarily emphasizes her narrow hips. I wouldn´t have like that line on anyone´s figure. It looks wrong and uncomfortable, and I hope that that line will have been subjected to an alteration the next time the dress comes around.
ردحذفEugenie´s dress has potential but looks very bulky in the skirt. Nice colour and rich fabric though.
I prefer this version of Catherine's Alexander McQueen gown rather than the way it originally was (the off the shoulder version).
