On March 8, International Women's Day, Crown Princess Mary attended UN Women and Boston Consulting Group's The Gender Diversity Roundtable held at Copenhagen UN City. Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and UN Women Nordic Office brought together 16 Danish leaders in The Gender Diversity Roundtable (GDR). At the roundtable meeting, experiences and best practices on how to advance gender diversity in Denmark were shared. The Members of the Roundtable have been meeting regularly since 2017. (Crown Princess Mary wore a striped woven skirt by CHLOE.) |
A simple elegant look from head to toe.
ردحذفIndeed. However, I prefer pumps over boots in this look.
حذفMe too! Boots are too heavy a look but I’m sure it was a warmer option.
حذفAll women here - boring style, does not look like any believe in the power of feminism.
ردحذفSonnenkringel, how must one dress to believe in the power of feminism?
حذفI like what the women are wearing here. I find it all a bit dark maybe, but I´m glad that no-one looks overly trendy or rightout crazy here. But then again, I see the real power in femininity, not in feminism (which to me isn´t feminine at all).
حذفThank you @ Coralie
حذفA white carnation (Boutonniere) would be fine and a red blouse or red tie.
This is better than nothing, altough it is as good as a lame horse, but it would bring some awareness, hopefully.
Debora Feldmann for example had the idea to chose a scarf (amongst others)for being photographed.
Very well said!
حذفI think this is very feminine and pretty look.
حذف..or green, white, violet -> give women vote...secret language.
حذفThis is a Parisian chic look.
ردحذفIt is!
حذفBlack isn’t a spring Parisian look. In fact quite the opposite. Have a look at what was worn on the street at Paris Fashion Week for Parisian spring inspiration.
حذفLily
Cute skirt, while it is shorter, it is not too short and looks so right with the darker tights.
ردحذفWhat is “gender diversity”? There are two genders, male and female, period.
ردحذفWhy don't you google it before speaking lightly of something? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_diversity
حذفMy thoughts exactly. The world is going insane, and they even teach this nonsense to school kids.
حذفYES! just two!
حذفWie trollig
حذفWell, there are - and have always been - also people with a non-binary gender. Only, in the past they had to hide it - and still have to in more conservative or reactionary or theocratic societies. Sadly, during my school years, I had to witness how a schoolmate with a non-binary gender suffered as a result of the still fairly backwards stance of the 1980s society and eventually ended up in killing themself. :-( How I wish they could have survived and lived to see the much more appreciative and open-minded present-day society - at least here in my northern home country. So, let's be open-minded and appreciative here too! Fashion-wise: I quite like Mary's look here, the skirt has an edge!
حذفRichtig. Dieser „Gender-Quatsch“.
حذفI´m not sure a non-binary gender is a thing, though. I recognize that there are people with gender identification problems, but that is not a third gender as such. Also, it is a very small minority of the population who suffers from this, and while we as a society should definitely help them to come to terms with life, this issue should not dictate how we define gender. And lastly, any call for gender diversity is ridiculous anyway, because the occurence of gender identification problems cannot be controlled, so promoting such phenomenons is impossible. The only thing these calls for gender diversity can (and clearly do) promote is gender self-identification as a lifestyle choice - which is something I strongly oppose.
حذفThank you, Vanessa, so very well said. As for the outfit, I really like it. Stylish, professional and appropriate for the weather this time of year. Even though I often disagree with Mary’s politics, I’m a big fan of her style. It’s rarely boring and predictable and is usually inspired.
حذفNot at all sure of the boots. I had not noticed that the group was so dull until you pointed it out, sonnenkringel. Bright colours make such a difference. Think of Queen Elizabeth in her orange outfit yesterday or even the bright scarf worn by Queen Sonia today. Ditch the black!!!
ردحذفCute skirts looks a little like a basket

ردحذفFeminism will be a power when it is said: "All here - boring style..."
ردحذفNice outfit but with shoes not boots.
ردحذفRichtig. Schönes Outfit, aber nicht in Kombination mit den Stiefeln.
حذفI really like her outfit, and with the boots. It is a more modern, fresh look. I am not a great fan of black hose with pumps, but love the longer leg line with the boots.
ردحذفPollera actual vistosa ero no fina y menos de botas
ردحذفMary looks FANTASTIC. In my opinion, far and away the most consistently best-dressed and stylish royal.
