  1. Oh, my goodness, I love her hair styled this way! Very regal and flattering to her features. Winter white dress and coat are very elegant.

    1. Agree! I'm not a fan of the coat and dress, but she is really glowing, looking very radiant and happy.
I especially love her hair, it is so beautiful on her! Amazing!! She should do this more often ;-)

  3. Gorgeous! Love it all, dress, coat and green accessories. Her hair looks really good as well. She has a beautiful round belly, straight out. :) love it!

Love love love her hair like this!!! She should always keep them parted on the side and forget the middle parting forever which makes the top of her head look flat and unattractive. Not only does this style make her look taller thanks to the volume at the back of her head and on top, but it also brings out the beautiful features of her face 100 times more than any other hairstyle. The coat is scrumptious, the dress is also beautiful but perhaps a bit too tight for late pregnancy, too tight for my taste. I am not saying she should wear shapeless tents, no no no, but there are certainly many more beautiful cuts for maternity wear. This dress is probably not even maternity wear, she should wear it again post-baby and I am sure it will look loads better and more flattering. All in all, she looks gorgeous tonight

    1. I agree with you on all points.

Preferring maternity wear that does not hug the contours of the belly does _not_ imply some sort of animus against pregnancy or against the female body. If some enjoy seeing the contours of a pregnant lady's navel through her dress, I find that puzzling, but that's life in today's fashion world and I'm just grateful that there is room for other styles and other points of view.

I like Meghan's hairstyle here very much (it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's glorious updo in "Charade" :-). I confess that I think she also looks great with the center part or the hair pulled straight back. Let's face it, it would take a major hair catastrophe for this girl to look less than beautiful.

  5. It's really too bad she chooses to wear non-maternity dresses. It just looks sloppy. I do love the coat and accessories, especially the earrings.

She looks wonderful and lively. Clearly she's almost reached the point where she can no longer wear non-maternity styles. There's only so far a knit can stretch! I would put money on seeing the tiny new royal before late April.

  13. Where was this chic white outfit before the pregnancy? The dress is transparent enough for us to see her belly button popping out. Just...... no.

doesnt look elegant, in good taste.

Another case where the camera flashes probably reveal much more than the naked eye would see. If we are going to be picky,...at least she shows up while pregnant.

    4. Totally agree with you, Pasha Kitty and others. Glad I'm not alone in disliking tight pregnancy outfits. However, the dress really is the only negative--Her hair is lovely and I like the coat and love the shoes and bag. Good on her for not giving up her lovely shoes even on cobbles, which is a real achievement

Pasha Kitty, she had the jacket on the 1st time at a memorial service, I think when they were still engaged. So yes part of this stunning outfit was seen in public before

  14. I just don't like tight maternity outfits which completely outline and emphasize the bump (including showing the navel). While I'm not necessarily one for muumuus, in advanced pregnancy a dress with looser fabric falling over the bump just looks better. Coat and dress are elegant (but again, dress is not for an advanced pregnancy).

I honestly think we as a society have spent so much time hiding from the reality of pregnancy and childbirth (as in glossing over the non-aestheticslly pleasing bits or the normal changes of a woman's body bits) that I love seeing women not be afraid to show their pregnant belly.

      Delete
    6. Amen!! Nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman. I continue to be surprised at the conditioning that females have suffered, and how little appreciation some women show towards their own. We don't bat an eye when somebody wears skin tight outfits as long as they aren't pregnant. She looks radiant, full of life and glorious. Please Meghan don't hide your belly, nothing to be ashamed of!!

Very beautiful appearance by Meghan. She glows. Unless she opts for bespoke, pregnancy dresses will never fit perfectly in all the right places, or only briefly as the body changes...and Harry continuing to evolve (losing the always slightly rumpled look) dashing in pinstripes!!

    11. In reply to Cherry Blossom, I'm not a fan of skin tight outfits on anyone. They tend to be unflattering on anyone who is not unnaturally thin. Nor do I have to have "suffered" conditioning to find a pregnant belly unsightly. It's my view and my choice. And when the dress is stretched so tight that the belly button is protruding, personally I can't see how it can be considered dignified. However, if you think it's aesthetically pleasing, then that's your choice and yo are welcome to say so. I don't think it's a matter of age or conditioning, merely choice.

    12. Anonymous13/2/19 20:54

Her dress is not actually skin tight, the material just allows the belly button to show. Shes pregnant, belly buttons show. No bid deal. I just think we are so conditioned to be afraid/ashamed of viewing a pregnant woman's body as it truly is that we have conditioned ourselves to view a pregnant belly and see it ugly, unsightly, or un-lady-like.

  15. I love her hair, but I don't like the outfit. The dress is ill-fitting--baggy in some places, too tight in others--and I don't like coats that are too small to button up. It's a sort of pet-peeve. The turtle neck is too loose and high. The purse is lovely.

Lovely white combo, I do like both pieces, but the dress shows the belly button maybe it should or not?, but who cares. The important thing is she looks happy and healthy. Do like her hair and makeup.

  28. She looks amazingly happy and glowing. I'm guessing she's loving being pregnant and I also agree with Cherry Blossom or someone said maybe the lighting in the dress. It's a preference on loose vs tight fitting dresses. I prefer the latter it looks more chic and modern. But again my preference. Also since she rarely wears prints her bump or belly button will be difficult to hide.

  29. The colour is beautiful, I personally don’t like tight dresses like this on late pregnancy. I noticed the very visible hem line of the dress which is strange. Is this a feature of this line? Or a mistake when the dress was altered for Meghan?

  30. Meghan looks stunning, from head to toe. If you can't get over the fact that women dress to show their pregnancies now, I would suggest it is your own hang up. It is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing vulgar in her appearance. She is beautifully put together. Bravo!
