King Harald and Queen Sonja attended the 25th anniversary of Lillehammer 1994

On February 16, 2019, King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway attended the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Lillehammer Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, held in Lillehammer. The Olympic Winter Games Lillehammer (Olympiske vinterleker 1994) were the first Olympic Games to put in place environmental and sustainability practices, setting an example for sustainable mega event organisation. All 10 sporting venues that were purpose-built for the 1994 Games remain in used today.

    Time flies 25th Lillehammer Anniversary. This event is even more special since the Royal Couple help to celebrate.

    The sporting venues AND some of the official Lillehammer official clothes are still in use today (it looks like). Lovely!

      LOL - those very memorable pants... :) now it would be a pity to give up on such a recognizable part of the outfit. You always know what country they come from... :)

      Lovely lady she is, queen Sonja. Always liked her a lot, maybe I didn't always think she is best dressed - but I always thought she is dignified and represents her country extremely well.
