2nd Day - Dutch Queen Maxima's working visit to Jordan

On the second day of her visit to Jordan, on February 12, 2019, Queen Maxima met with Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz, Minister of Finance Ezzedin Kanakriyah, Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mothanna Gharaibeh, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mary Kamel Kawar and the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Ziad Fariz. The Queen also attended a roundtable meeting with representatives of non-governmental organisations. Afterwards, Queen Maxima met with King Abdullah II and Queen Rania at Amman Royal Palace. Since 2009 Queen Máxima, in her capacity as UN Special Advocate, has been working worldwide to make financial services accessible to all, including low-income groups and SMEs, with a view to increasing their prospects for economic and social development.

  1. Altijd met die mond zo ver open, ik vind dat geen klasse.

  2. I like Maxima as a person but she doesn't have good taste in clothes . I think she dresses better for the evening than day time. This dress with different kind of fabrics and colors is really ugly.

    1. I agree with you.
Sometimes I wonder where from she is getting her clothes.
Pity because she is good looking woman and with nice outfits she would look great.

  4. I think Maxima's dress is interesting, but not a great choice of accessories, this outfit has a little bit of boho style, and it would probably look OK on a more informal setting with booties, the jewelry, the high heels, and the ever shiny hose, makes it look disconnected. Rania looks exquisite, and chic.

  6. Maxima is great and usually I love her style a lot.
But I really don't like this dress. The upper part with the polkadots looks lovely but the rest of the dress, especially the black and white sides are awful.

I'm really ok with Ranias style. I don't like all but a lot, she looks fashionable and chic.

Today's outfit looks good with the coat on not so much with it off.Q Maxima has her own style, one time it is spot on next time not, the coat and shoes are very nice. I also like Q Ranias outfit, but not so much the bottom if the sleeves, but she can pull it off.

Maxima's dress has a strange design and style. I do not care for it. It looks like she tried to do something with her hair, but it is still quite the mess. Trying to find something positive...I do like her earrings and coat. Rania's sleeves on her blouse are a bit odd, other than that I think she looks nice with beautifully styled hair (as usual for her).

Ok, I will try to be nice: I think she wanted to pay tribute to Rania and her style, I could easily see Rania wear a dress like this and we would perhaps even like it on her, it’s more her style (and we have seen her in much worse ridiculous outfits). Unfortunately it didn’t work. It looks even more out of place as Rania decided to play safe and chose a much more subdued outfit - so let’s find some solace in the thought that both ladies were trying hard to please each other, and that’s laudable.

Well, either that or their outfits got swapped by mistake - like their respective assistants bumped into each other on the elevator, fell down, dropped the garments which were surely wrapped in dark bags and they picked up the wrong one when they got up from the floor - it can happen ;-)) And that’s why the big laughter from Maxima when she realized what had happened when she met Rania....

  13. She has about 19 different shades of hair going on, but it works on her!

  14. Maxima is back to her usual style. She has lost the polish she had the last few outfits. Rania, however, looks very nice. I usually don't care for her style, but she looks great here. There is just enough personality in her outfit so it is not boring, yet remains chic.
