Emperor and Empress visited 'Rubens and the Birth of the Baroque' exhibition

On January 14, 2019, Japan's Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko visited the "Rubens and the Birth of the Baroque" exhibition held at the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo, Japan. This exhibition brings together a selection of Rubens’ works, including “Portrait of Clara Serena Rubens” and “The Discovery of the Infant Erichthonius,” with ancient, 16 to 18th-century Italian pieces.
