  2. Queen Maxima is ravishing and restrained! What a beautiful look tonight. Her choices of jewels and the red gown let her shine through. I love the placement of the "sparklers" on the dress.

  3. This time is Maxima perfect from my perspective. Wonderful dress (in white even more) and jewels with no overdose. Tiara, earings and brooche make great combo.

  4. I dont mind Maxima's gown but think the whole look would be more polished with an updo.

  6. This gown looks not quite right across the bust and a few cm too long... The jewels are as always splendid, but for the occasion she should have made a simple bun or similar to hide the very tired hair...

    1. Totally agree about the hair, and the gown not looking quite right across the top area.

    2. I don't think it is about tired hair, it is the haistyle itself without the extensions.

    3. Totally agree with you. I immediately recognized her dress, she has worn it before. But it doesn't fit on the bust. And a simple bun or even waves with extensions, would have looked much better.
      The jewelry is nice.

  7. Think her hair is okay though an updo is always smart. The dress is gorgeous and really suits her. Great choice.

  9. I don't love the color of the gown. Burnt orange is not an easy color to wear. The gown itself is nice, however. I really love the tiara. Maxima always looks best when more restrained.
