And Letizia and Mathilde of Belgium. El Papa Francisco has lowed the protocol, veil is not mandatory. Now they can wear a suit, back in the day it was almost a nun dress.

Mary seems alright with embracing everything (I understand she learned Danish in a record time! good for her! maybe she can give Charlene some tips). I believe Mary’s respectfulness is remarkable.

ردحذفA meeting with the Pope is not an occasion for high fashion, but instead for decent and appropriate attire and Mary ticks all those boxes here and then some. I'm glad that she chose to wear the traditional veil/mantilla instead of a hat, or a hat+veil as many do. It is simple and sincere.
