Spanish Royal Family attended Covadonga´s 2018 Anniversaries

King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia attended the commemorative ceremonies of the 13th centenary of the creation of Asturias and the centenary of the Coronation of Lady of Covadonga and the Picos de Europa National Park in Covadonga. In 2018, Asturias celebrates three anniversaries centred around Covadonga and its vicinity. Three centenaries take place at once: that of the Coronation of the Virgen de Covadonga, the creation of the Montaña de Covadonga National Park and the 13th centenary of the origins of the Kingdom of Asturias.

  1. Wonderful. They all look great. Letizia always looks fabulous in red and the girls look perfect in those simple tweed outfits.

  2. Beautiful dresses for the Spanish Queen and her lovely daughters. I adore Letizia's red and would happily wear sized up versions of Leonor & Sofia's dresses. They always look so smart while remaining age appropriate 😀
On a separate point, I've not been able to post comments on this site from my desktop or laptop for some weeks. They would only accept gmail links. Has anyone else had this problem & how have you rectified this?

    3. la chistorra no tiene nada que ver con Asturias, listilla.
Has descubierto este sitio y te estás inflando a escupir, ¿eh? Que te aproveche y sueltes lastre.

    4. The chistorra sausage is typical of Navarra and the Basque Country, not of Asturias where the typical sausage is a black pudding known as pantrucu that is sold and kept wrapped in cabbage leaves. According to your theory Queen Letizia should wear green when she visits Asturias, her homeland.

    6. Rosa, what a tasteless comment!! Maybe is considered funny in your circles?? On this very civil site, not so much.
Love the dress, fitted perfectly on top, lovely fluid skirt. I don't like to opine on children's fashion, other to say that they are adorable as usual.

  5. All members of Royal Spanish family are well dressed. The Princess and the Infanta seem to g ave given up childish wear....and what's more, I think by the pictures Infanta Sofia is much taller than her sister Princess of Asturias.Congratulations
    to this lovely family!

  7. Los vestidos de la Reina, la Princesa y la Infanta son de Carolina Herrera. Las tres van preciosas, elegantes sin exageración.
Un entorno bellísimo, pura Historia y Tradición. Un gran día y soleado.

Wowzers, such a difference in the sisters' height. Sorry Letizia, but the top of your dress does not fit well although the style, length, and color are wonderful.

  10. They all look nice, to me Letizia looks Best is red. My only quibble is that the dress looks a little too tight. Almost Mette-Marit like. Pleased to see the girls are now allowed to wear outfits for their age. They seem to all enjoy and appreciate both types of activities. This royal family always makes me feel good

  12. Letizia's dress is perfection. I don't think it is too tight. It is designed to be fitted. She always looks beautiful in red. I personally think tweed is a bit too old for the girls. That being said, the dresses are really cute. I would rather see them in shoes other than flats. The weight of the fabric calls for a more substantial shoe. It was a treat to see these pictures. They are such a lovely family.
