  2. This is a nice photo. However, I came across an old photo prior to the plastic surgery. Her face had far more character and I think I preferred her appearance then.

    1. I agree. A 2018 photo would have been appropriate. It shows that beauty has all ages.

Happy Birthday! Same with Prince Harry. King Carl Gustav also is now 45 years on the throne of Sweden, which happened the same day (today) that his future son-in-law Prince Daniel was born.

Happy Birthday Queen Letizia!! You are a style icon, a example of a modern working mom, and are admired for using your influence to help others. May next year be better than this one.
This is a beautiful 'glamour shot' done by a prestigious photographer. Photoshop or not she is beautiful and by all accounts intelligent too.

Yes I agree with Christine. She is beautiful now and was beautiful then, but a face with its own familial traits is so much more interesting than a 13 to a dozen photoshopped face. Loved her roman nose! Hope queen Rania never does anything to her exquisite beauty and stays true to her inherited traits. Same goes for the other royals. (Queen Silvia has not been quite lucky with some of her estetique operations.) We are beautiful as we are!

    1. Have you ever seen a picture of Queen Rania before she married? Her face is totally different now - and I think that she is teetering on the edge of too much botox and fillers.

    2. I believe Queen Rania has already done quite a bit to her face over the years.

    3. I think Anonymous, that Queen Rania also had plastic surgery on her nose. It seems women, with money, just cannot accept the features they dislike on themselves.

9:46 Rania's perfection..Oh My! It seems a bit pathetic not to accept a person as they are and keep talking about a nose that will never come back. Can we look at the person inside? Empathy! Right or wrong, she can only look ahead.

    5. Oh dear, I do not believe there is much natural in Rania´s outlook today. I am sure she has had several cosmetic surgeons and a lot of botox and fillers.

About Letizia, she was so beautiful and her beauty had personality before all those surgeons, botox and fillers. I am sad she had to go to all that artificial things. So sad she did not think she was enough as she was.

@8:00am how many surgeries has she had? and why is the reason given for her nose operation not acceptable? JLO, J. Aniston and B. Lively are 3 women who have had nose surgeries (if you con find before pictures) and are current in the magazines. No one thinks that they are insecure about their looks, and we happily pay to see their movies. In the audience with the Infanta Pilar in July, it was obvious that most of the society ladies showed signs of aesthetic peels or other skin treatments. Happy Birthday! was really all that was necessary on a day a person can celebrate a milestone that many others did not reach.

    7. Charlene as well looks completely different. I hope the younger royal ladies like Sofia, Victoria, Madeleine, Kate do not go down the plastic surgery route as they begin to age. Although Kate does have botox from time to time, I hope she doesn't go overboard with it.

    8. Charlene has Charisma and Character she is warmhearted and has real interest for everybody. Albert is lucky with such a Mother for his twins and his Principallity.

    9. Anonymous; Letizia has had several surgeries done, nose I believe at least twice, chin, ears, eyes, boobs to start with. Plus a lot of botox and fillers. About the first nose job, the explanation was deviated septum. Funny thing is that that surgery has nothing to do with how nose looks out, it is completely done inside nose.

This world of ours is so peculiar place, do we really believe women are never enough if they do not look like teenagers how ever old and intelligent they may be. I think these royal ladies would have given a strong positive message for women rights if they had enough courage to be as they were and age as nature goes. Just look at Camilla how beautiful she is with her wrinkles and age.

Why would the same dress matter? Have you seen what Letizia looked like when they got married in 2004? I believe she had her major (first?) plastic surgery in 2007. This photo might be recent but with lots of photoshopping. Check out some old photos of her.
