Princess Kako attended the opening ceremony of IOI 2018

On September 2, 2018, Princess Kako of Akishino attended the opening ceremony of the 30th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2018) held at Tsukuba International Conference Hall in Tsukuba near Tokyo. She delivered a speech in English and the met with Japan team members after the International Olympiad in Informatics opening ceremony. The International Olympiad in Informatics is an annual competitive programming competition for secondary school students.
