  1. All the men's pants are way too long. Not everybody can afford tailor-made but they surely can afford alterations by a tailor? Where I have my slacks shortened by a tailor, it costs me all of $10

  2. This is the way men have been wearing their trousers for decades. When people sit down, the pant leg rides up, exposing the sock covered ankle, some leg, and some shoe area. In The Winter, that can allow the cold in, so people leave the trouser leg long and less cold air gets in when they sit down.

    1. I agree with you. The trousers we can see here certainly don´t look right, but the problem is not so much the length, it´s much more the cut, and especially the tighter trouser legs. It is a horrible trend. Not only do skinny legs not look especially good on men (or anybody, really), but they make it impossible for the trousers to reach over the shoes (as they should, and have for centuries), so they are made shorter, exposing the whole shoe and sometimes even part of the socks. When men with that kind of trousers sit down, it looks expecially ridiculous with they trouser legs riding up to mid-calf, or as far as the tight cut will allow. And we often see pictures of standing men with their tight trouser legs still stuck on their calves because the trousers are so tight they wont even glide down again by themselves. It is a huge mess.
Wat we need is a return to trousers that sit right, have room to move along with the movement of the wearer and have just the right length to cover the upper end of the shoe without crumpling and still cover most of the leg when sitting.

As for Mary - the dress is nice but needs to lose those tassles. And I hate both her purse and her shoes.

  5. The fact that they all have long pants makes me think it might be a current Danish fashion😀.

    1. I also thought it may be a new fashion trend, Sherrie. Nevertheless, it looks ungroomed.
