Prince Alexander officially visited his dukedom, Södermanland

Today, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia and their son Prince Alexander, the Duke of Södermanland visited the Nynas Nature Reserve in Södermanland and attended the inauguration of Prince Alexander's Vantage Point, which is Södermanland County's baptism gift to Prince Alexander. When Prince Alexander was born, governor Liselott Hagberg asked from all the municipalities, if they wanted to contribute to Prince Alexander's baptism gift, which would cost SEK 400 000.

  1. I love the way the Swedish royals children are dressed. It's a pity the British royal kids would look so much better if they were allowed to adopt a modern style. Little George is a copy of his father and grandfather at the same age. Time stood still there.

    1. Its about taste. I like how the british kids dress. However I feel Charlotte always wears the same clothes.

  2. This is very cute - I love how solemnly he fulfils his duty!

His little smart casual outfit is great and fits in well with his parents as well. What a nice family day.

Personally, I think the British royal children look fine - it's just a different choice (and that's all it is, a choice, not a rule about how they dress).

  3. Looking at the picture of Sophia sitting on the rocks in white pants, if I did that they would no longer be white on the rearend or legs of the pants.

  4. Cute little boy. It seems he's very proud of performing the same task as his parents usually do.
There's no need to compare the two traditions of royalty. Every country and every family has got its own style and that's a good thing.
