  4. Stunning!! Love this color between red and Marsala, I like the way it flows and the halter style top makes it very contemporary. Great hair and jewelry. Princess Benedikte looks great as well, very regal, summery and age appropriate.

  5. They both look good. Indeed gorgeous colour on Mary. I wish the top part of her dress was less bathing suit-like, especially the straps (I really wonder what it looks like in the back; I´m thinking sports-bra-style and don´t like the idea), but still very nice dress and pattern.
Benedikte is her usual elegant self, although I don´t think that the colours are ideal for her.

    1. The last photo shows the back. Mary always looks so poised but relaxed. I always compare her to Queen Letizia who holds hand bags like she’s clutching something heavy. Mary looks and handles herself like she was born to the aristocracy. Such a hard worker for her adopted country. Stunning dress, hair, makeup...everything!

    2. Ah, I see, another photo has been added. The back of the dress looks better than I feared, yet the bodice of the dress still looks a bit too much like a sports top to be truly elegant.

    3. I agree but give it a pass since it’s summer and Mary can pull it off.

  9. Agreed on Mary carrying herself with poise and dignity without being ‘pretious’ and pompous. Quite on the contrary. Looks natural, not forced

Yes Southernbelle, I agree, she works hard, hats off to her, and with a husband, and 4 children, has she ever have time to relax?
