Nelson Mandela International Day (or Mandela Day) is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated each year on 18 July, Mandela's birthday. 2018 marks the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. The Princess met with representatives of charities associations present in South Africa at Emperors Palace On July 11, 2018 in Johannesburg. Princess Charlene will be visiting several orphanages in Benoni to commemorate the Mandela Day. |

ردحذفI like the coat (think it's Loro Piana) but I really don't like the pale grey boots. She needs a bit of powder although I'm sure the indoor lighting isn't helping.

You think it's Loro Piana? A wonderful brand. I own a pashmina (if that is the correct word) of them. Very very good quality in a beautiful blue colour.

حذفI wish the leading photo had shown her with the lapels in place. No wonder people think she looks odd - it isn't how it is normally worn. Nice to see her hair is a little longer. She does look very tired at this event - maybe not feeling well after a long trip?
ردحذفWe are experiencing a very cold winter in South Africa this year and unlike Europe, we mostly don't have central heating inside buildings. We therefore tend to dress very warm inside. The princess is dressed appropriately for the circumstances here.
ردحذفThe first thing I noticed was her boots. They are fabulous! I see some are not happy with her choice of pants, which are probably a warm ponte knit or something similar. She is wearing exactly what she should be wearing with the boots, a legging, and they fit perfectly. Her coat is beautiful and I know many women that would wear it with pride. I agree that her face is very shiny and probably needs some powder or a blotting paper. I notice that she doesn't wear much makeup now and her hair is not styled too often, instead keeping her look more natural. She is a natural beauty regardless.
