  1. I don't mind the dress but don't think it's especially flattering for Mette-Marit. It's a bit tight and she looks like she has a uni-bosom.

Hair is pretty with the waves.

Nice dress maybe she should stay with DVF, for a while sill a little pulling in the back,oh well she is the one wearing it,not me.

    1. Yes, crazy choices - nothing matches here! The shoes completely clash with the dress and bag.

  5. Shoes do clash, not a good choice with the dress. The bag I can live with.
The dress is one of her better choices (not overly frilly) but still not really flattering her body type. I feel like this kind of floaty dress really only works on very athletic body types, and Mette-Marit is curvy. She needs thicker fabrics and more structured cuts. She also needs more colour; nothing extreme, just something that´s not white or pastel or black. The pattern gives me slight pyjama or hospital gown vibes, unfortunately. And lastly, this dress has an exceptionally ugly belt.

    1. You are right as for the dress - especially compared with the photos of the model...

  6. The shoes! I love! Anyone else have a closet full of what Royals have worn? Or is it just me?

  7. Mette Marit looks wonderful. She is a natural beauty. I like this dress and the purse too. Nice colour to the grey outfit.' I agree with Vanessa S though that the shoes do clash with the rest of the colours.

    1. Why do they clash? I think it's a nice mix of patterns and the right pop of colors to an otherwise drab/monotone look.

The shoes and purse are great to the outfit. Don't understand the criticism. She looks good.

Don't see anything wrong with MM in this dress. https://scanpix.no/previews/tc/c/a0/w_nor_tcca01ed.jpg
