  1. The D&G Dress again. Maxima has one too. No wonder, the colour and the clean cut are great. Simplicity in fashion is one of the hardest things to accomplish (Coco Chanel).

  2. When you look at Mary in the same dress, you can clearly see how much better clothes look a) when you buy them in the right size and b) when you stand up straight and hold yourself in a good posture.

Apart from the wrong size. The dress is beautiful and red is such a becoming color for MM. Much better than white or cream that unfortunately chooses so often.

P.S. This suit of Haakon looks terrible as if torn out of a recycling bin. And why is the president of Lithuania wearing a sofa blanket over her shoulders?

She just had a back surgery, so no wonder she has no good posture.

    3. @ Anonymous, yes, it is known that MM has back pain.....and this is exactly why she should exercise, do a core training and build up some abdominal and back muscles. This would improve her back pain, her posture and her overall health. I am a physiotherapist and I know what I am talking about. I know, remarks on the figure and shape of the royal ladies are here on this blog considered as 'body shaming', which it is not. The truth ist MM would better loose some 20 - 30 pounds, follow a healthy diet and start some exercises. She would feel much better in 3-4 months....and look much better.

I don't understand why she does not engage a personal trainer. I would love to train her. She seems to be a lovely person, her husband is still smitten by her, she is a natural nordic beauty. But she would benefit from some advice on the health and fitness part as well as the fashion part (To avoid such a terrible thing like the granny's nightgown she wears as evening dress on the latest post).

    5. AS you're a physio, Beth, I accept your comments on posture. Agree that she looks wonderful in red and can't understand why she goes for so many wishy washy pastels. Regarding the tightness of her dresses, I wonder if, like so many of us, she resists the urge to go up a size because the next diet WILL work!

Wondering when did Beth move in to MM home since she knows how much she exercise? A little advice before we bodyshame others we could take a hard look at our self and try to inform us about others. A little information to Beth, MM do exercise and it was because of to much exercise she got Benign paroksysmal posisjonsvertigo. And not all of the female population have the need to look like they have anorexia. MM have a normal body, feel good in her own skin and are not afraid to show that she have given birth to 3 kids. Deal with it!

  5. I like the dress and the bright colour is really good with Mette Marit's blonde colouring. She isn't fat and personally I don't think Mary looks better because she is slimmer but rather because her dress is the right size. MM would look so much better if only the dress were a size bigger.

D&G dress lovely, but on M-M it is pulling in the back and sides.
