  1. Nice! Beautiful and flattering outfits, both on Mette-Marit and Mrs. Vējone. Well done!
Haakons suit is too small, but I like that he chose blue to complement Mette-Marits outfit (and to avoid looking like a bridal couple).

  2. Oh, I love the Latvian Forst Lady's gown, particularly the soft pastel hues. Ravishing! I'm guessing the generous lapels might be a sticking point with some readers, but I think they stop just short of being too much of a good thing. Very lovely and age-apptopriate look, imo. Mette-Marit is stuck in white/cream mode again...sigh (that sigh includes a yawn). When she wears something other than white, cream, or black, it's an event. She is such a beautiful woman, I wish she would let color enhance her beauty more often.

  4. Lovely pictures. Both he ladies are looking beautiful and elegant. Mette Marit looks happy and healthy now. The old brooche with the large aquamarin is gorgeous!
Maybe a gift from the collection of jewellery belonging to he royal family o Norway?

  5. Wonderful make up, hair and jewels. Boring white dress. The black narrow ribbon doesn't add anything to the dress and results unflattering for M.M. waist.

  6. I want to like MM's dress but it just seems a bit "off". I think the pleats in the dress are a problem, as are the sleeves which would have been better if they covered her elbows. The belt seems wrong and the brooch is oddly placed- perhaps it would have been better close to the neckline.
Perhaps if she had worn her hair up then it all would have looked better.
