Danish Royal family members visited Prince Henrik at Hospital

On February 10, 2018, Members of Danish Royal family visited Prince Henrik at Government Hospital (Rigshospitalet) in Copenhagen. Prince Henrik has been hospitalized since January 28th, and on Friday, the Danish Royal Court announced that his condition has worsened and was critical. Therefore, Crown Prince Frederik has discontinued his stay in South Korea, where he was on duty for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and he returned to Denmark.

    4. Henrik was hospitalized during holiday at Egypt about two weeks ago, transfered to Danish hospital 29th January, made lung surgeon because benign lung tumor and now got pneumonia a few days ago. His dementia is not very bad yet.

    5. Diane; he was able to play very well bridge at New Year´s party, his friends tell his memory had nothing wrong then. So it cannot be really advanced dementia.

  4. Last month, Henrik was forced to cut short a visit to Egypt after doctors diagnosed him with pneumonia. On his return to Copenhagen, a benign tumour was discovered in his left lung and he contracted an infection this is why he was hospitalised, not for dementia
