Queen Mathilde and King Philippe visited Perrekes House

King Philippe of Belgium and Queen Mathilde of Belgium made a Christmas visit to Perrekes House (Huis Perrekes) in Geel city of Antwerp, which carries out a 'life project' for people with dementia. Perrekes House provides private accommodation, care and guidance services, including choir programs, for elders with dementia.

  1. My favourite royal couple. Mathilde seems to be warmhearted and well-liked by her countrymen. They are a lovely couple who still hold hands after 18 or so years of marriage. They have 4 well-behaved children, and have produced the first-ever female Belgian queen-to-be in her own right. Plus, they are Belgian, as I am, so what's not to like?
