  1. She looks like a different person without all that heavy make-up she´s normally wearing.

  2. Pathetic. Why doesn't anybody in her environment tells her about her horrible hair?

  3. its always entertaining to see how royal ladies look when they don't wear makeup. I think Maxima looks lovely here. Okay, her hair look a little on the wild side but I prefer it instead of controlled and tight hairstyles :P

  5. The same as Kteach and Geli. She lacks glamour.

  6. The hair looks dirty and oily to me but besides that it could be only my impression I truly wonder why nobody around her carry a purse brush; I like her looking natural but a minimum of care and a color lip balm would have make her look more ready, here it seems she just slept throughout the flight.

  7. Of course , you can go makeup free, of course you can look tired after a flight, although I don't think she flies economics ;-), but no need to descend the gangway and look like Kate Moss in the worst days of her life. A few strikes with the hairbrush, a quick brush with the mascara, a dash of lip gloss, all women I know have these items handy in their handbag, takes less than a minute, I know it, because I do it before I walk downstairs with the trashbin ;-))))

Apart from that I like her engagement as a UN advocat in Nairobi, the world's future will depend on Africa's thrive.

  8. There are so many examples here in the States...all the mansions in Newport, R.I. had little reception rooms so as soon as the guests arrived, the ladies could check their coats and check their hair. I always have to arrive places early, because my hair doesn't travel well and it has to be combed upon arrival. Does someone think this makes her relatable and accessible to the people? I agree, its time to bring it to her attention.

Maybe nobody has the courage to tell her, or maybe they feel they will offend her. And that's a pity. I wish her girls can ask her to cut and style her hair, or wish she will follow Laurentien's example

  10. She seems to have two layers of stringy hair. Is the longer length some sort of extensions?

  11. Oh heck nooooo! Smh 😒 why in the world would she not tidy up? This is awful. She looks terrible! I bet those giant bugs she wears get more 'polishing' and attention than that old broom she has on her head!

I adore Maxima for her work and eclectic fashion sense BUT THAT HAIR NEEDS TO CUT

Surely Willem doesn't enjoy pulling that hair 😂 my bad 😛

    Happy Samhain and Halloween all

  12. What a role model for women. She has a long flight to do some charity, sleeps on the plane, doesn't bother with stylists at this time because of her beauty and style and confidence. She looks better than most of us who step off a plane. Bravo Maxima.
