    1. Good grief what a petty little criticism, but coming from someone labeled Anonymous says it all.

    1. You said it...not me. No seriously! I wondered if anyone would mention this. (It would be cool!)

    2. There has been no announcement about Victoria being pregnant. She is wearing a loose-fitting dress but that may or may not mean anything. We'll see! Sofia is pregnant and that was announced--she's due in September.

    3. I think she's just wearing a loose fitting dress. Highly doubt she's pregnant. Maybe she wanted to comfortable.

    4. yes, after so much eating in Oslo!

    5. I have wondered that too. Not because she is wearing a loose fitting dress today, but from the last couple of photos... something just seemed a little different. I can't exactly put my finger on what. I hope she is pregnant though.

  7. Sorry,I really can't agree with Anonymus' comment. Where is the problem? For me it's all right how they walk. I am sure, after the Oslo celebrations for 2 days - and by other reasons they are close, they like- and know each other since childhood, and Maertha Louise is there without male companionship, so, why not!? Sometimes we walk together, sometimes not. With husbands, friends or foreigners. This is life and this is what makes us Humans. When my Dad passed away, a friend of him took me in his arms at the funeral. And my husband was allright with that...-
Just one note: I wish, Victoria would ditch that ugly hat!!!

    1. She wears this hat or a close version to all funerals. I think to hide her tears=( she is definitely a softy! I don't know that we will get an improvement but I bet Maxima or Mathilde could point her in the right direction!

    2. @Rainha- I know it's a fashion blog but I love that your example of a moment shared during the loss of your father. I love being human and aren't we fortunate for those little moments when someone lends their support when we are hurting!

    3. @rainha thank you for sharing your own experience. My family too link arms in happiness and sadness. Nothing is more powerful than human touch. It is the very thing that determines if a baby develops. So of course in sadness such as this we lock and bond. I am glad of it!

  8. Ohje! So viele Termine. Die Schweden kamen direkt mit dem Bus aus Oslo - drei Stunden hat die Fahrt (laut schwedischen Medien) gedauert. Bei Bewertung von Outfits sollten bei solchen Anlässen keine große Rolle spielen.

  9. Well, I think Princess Sofia looks gorgeous, so much softer and sweeter. Prince Carl Phillip looks rather stricken, but it is difficult to lose your uncle. My sons loved their uncles who always had some mischief going for them.

  10. Anotehr note, just in case: Princess Madeleine of Sweden is enjoying Florida's sunshine with her family at the moment.

    1. You couldn't resist a dig against princess Madeleine or are you green with envy that someone is enjoying Florida sunshine?

    2. rainha leonor, if you are anxious to see princess Madeleine, then she will be attending National Day celebrations on 6th of June and also CPss Victoria 40th birthday celebrations from 14th to 17th of July. Then its a good chance to see her again.

    3. Marianne, do you have yourself a problem? I wrote it not! as a "dig". But often people ask where she is. That's all. I just read, she's on holydays and share it.
Enjoy your week-end :) (Thanks, Karl!)

    4. Nope, I don't have a problem. Didn't notice anyone asking where Madde is (they are getting used to her MIA?), so this enjoying sunshine vs. attending funeral sounded like a dig. Sorry 🌷🌷Actually it was lousy of Madeleine to miss it but its her problem. If she's not more careful Sofia will gladly fill the spot and people won't even care anymore if Madeleine is there or not. This living out of Sweden isn't working well...

      Have a nice weekend too!
PS: the court made a mistake and the celebrations are on two days, from 14th to 15th of July (not till 17th as they first published).

    6. Princess Desiree has many nieces and nephews, most of them were absent in the funeral. Princess Christina's sons were absent too.

Chris went there for business and his mother's birthday is in May.Madeleine and kids, his sisters and their families were all there.

My condolences to Princess Desiree and her family for her loss.

I would like to wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day!

  12. Victoria's dress is way too short = what is is with all those 35 to 40 years old 'royals' wearing teenage fashion? Also, why again a funeral 1 month after the death?

    1. It is very common in Sweden to wait a month before having the funeral. Just different customs in different countries.

  13. My condolescences to the family!

I have a feeling that The King and Queen Silvia has had to attend too many funerals already this year. No more funerals! Hope everyone stays safe and as healthy as possible!

Its hard to commend on fashion when its the funeral, so I only say that Queen Silvia looks so elegant. The loveliest of them all.
