  2. The girls are gorgeous. Letizia and Felipe look stunning, I love her outfit and his matching tie.
On the Opiniones sobre la realeza board there are links to some very nice videos. They must have added something to Juan Carlos' coffee this morning, I haven't seen him in such a joyful and kind mood for half an eternity. He is chatting merrily away with Letizia, even puts his arm around her for a moment. And he is chatting and laughing with Sofia, even touching her almost tenderly. For once they look like a harmonic and close family, very nice to see.

    3. I like to think that at this time in life Juan Carlos and Sofia have arrived at some impasse and ability to let it go. Sad story.

  3. These girls are not only gorgeous, but from years of photos, I can easily tell that the beauty extends to the inside as well. They are well-loved and well-raised and it shows.

  6. Beautiful all around. Letizia should wear this outfit for Easter next year rather than the pantsuits. Gorgeous spring look!

    1. Queen Sofia must still be in very good health. She continues wearing quite high heels, unlike her colleagues in age Silvia, Sonja, Beatrix, let alone Margrethe. I'm happy for her.

  9. Sofia's title is not Princess, she is INFANTA SOFIA. And it is a pitty Letizia gives more attention to Leonor than to Sofia...

    1. You can tell that from these 6 pictures? Wow.

    2. I don'T think that is true at all! These are a few pics. I have seen her affectionate and attentive to both.

  10. 10 of 10 points for all of them! (Wow, even both grandparents in harmony! All "sins" of the past forgiven then? Well, it makes no sense to be angry, live is too short...) The dresses in "baby-blue" again, very trendy at the moment!
It's not about fashion, but I like these 2 girls very much (from what I can see). Good job, parents!

  12. Letizia's outfit looks quite ugly. Leonor's dress looks very beautiful. Nice color for her. Very attractive family.

  13. In the second photo Letizia looks absolutely stunning, her hair, makeup and earrings beautiful as expected. Love the colour of Letizia's outfit, it is a little 'over the top' for my taste, but then it is her daughter's First Holy Communion.

Not being Spanish or Catholic. I do have a question, why is Princess Leonor dressed up so beautifully in a blue frock when it is Infanta Sofia's Communion?
Both girls are beautiful and Infanta Sofia looks lovely in what I assume is her school uniform, I am just wondering why they are dressed so differently.

    1. Sofia has her communion together with her classmates and it's the school's custom that the communion kids all wear their uniform. Leonor did the same two years ago. She is now a guest and can dress as she pleases, like Sofia at her sister's communion. Hope this answers your question.

  14. Diane, the dress is no a repeat it is similar to the one she wore for Leonor's Holy Communion, but this one it is a specific creation from Felipe Varela for this occasion. I truly do not like this outfit, it is the eternal combo, and the lace looks very old fashioned I won't call it ugly, but definitely ages her, I think the color is lovely and I picture it on a simple dress with a boat neck, and bell sleeves, a gorgeous brooch and voilá. In any event she still manages to look gorgeous.

    1. Oh yes Cherry Blossom thank you for correcting me. I misread the Spanish on place I read. They said was "similar". Not the same :)

      Thank you :)

  15. It's wonderful to see a child with a radiant ear-to-ear smile. I adore Leonor’s dress. Letizia looks perfect in her role as mother, discreet and polished. On this special occasion, the protagonists are the girls.Wonderful colour and earrings. And it`s nice to see Queen Sofia and King Juan Carlos together once again. It's becoming more and more frequent, not only at family gatherings.
