Queen Letizia and King Felipe visit the World Food Program

King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain visited the World Food Program at the headquarters of the Red Cross on April 24, 2017 in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain. This was the royal couple's first visit together to the Canary Islands.
I love this! The pale ice-cream colours, and the soft style of the blouse, are just right for Spring. And her hair looks great. The second photo is really nice - we don't often see the king and queen together at a less formal event.
Lovely! Head to toe! She is every bit a Queen! I really like when she dresses down a bit. This is when we get to see her 'fun relaxed style' more. Perfect outing to allow her to be casual.
Even more than their looks I like the fact that instead of attending a jubilee party at Las Palmas opera house they visited a project "Orchestrated Neighbourhood" which permets kids from underprivileged families to learn playing an instrument. There are lots of wonderful pics in other boards.
Absolutely Romana! I need to go look for some more pictures. This was a great thing for them to do! I think most of the royals like being amongst the people over these often very stiff events.
