Mette-Marit looks lovely! The rich colour of the velvet is gorgeous and I like the way she lets the dress speak for itself without a lot of bling! And I love the way she is looking at the CP.
Lovely appearance! Beautiful dress, appropriate look, nice side parting but I need a bit of blusher or some colour on her face, it looks a bit washed out. Also, velvet is an unforgiving material, it gives out every tiny bump you have on your body. Therefore I think some tummy control underwear would have been a clever (if not ultimately neccessary) addition.
Velvet will never stop being in fashion .She looks good in that color and in that style of the dress. I think the suede shoes in the same color as the dress would look much better.
At first I thought the same about the shoes. Would have been better in the same color as the dress. As a counterpart. The longer I look at the pictures, I must say I like the nude shoes. Bright colors on top - hair, face, neck, and bright colors on bottom - stockings and shoes. The dress stands in the middle. I really think, it is good as it is.
Two recent nice choices for the Princess. First, the Prada jacket was a very good choice. The color and pattern was classic and stylish. Now, this dress is lovely. The color is beautiful and the neckline is very flattering. What a nice start for the year for her!
Hooray for the sidepart! Beautiful dress with beautiful color. She looks great. They both look great, relaxed and happy. I am happy to see this. For some reasons 2016 seems to have been a tough year for her. Wishing them all the best for the New Year.
What an excellent idea, Rachel. This color becomes MM very well, and I too would love see this outfit with a long skirt, and with the amethysts. Maybe next month at the celebration for King Harald? We can hope.
