  1. Princess Louise seems to be the very spitting image of her mother. I like Claire, she's not flashy, like some pseudo-Greek crown princess I could name. It's true that she and her husband don't have a role to play in the 'royal show biz', and Laurent has been reported to be the 'enfant terrible' of the Belgian royal family.

  3. The last we saw, they were visiting Queen Paola. Is there an update on her condition? These photo opportunities at charities supported by the rich are very awkward. To me it is more seemly to do your 'good works' quietly and let the needy have some dignity.

    1. I also think that these charity visits often seem awkward, especially when it seems to just be just a visit and no actual "helping" is bring done. I'm not sure what the point is, even if the Prince's Foundation is supporting this shelter.
I wonder why they are wearing thick coats indoors!

    2. Maybe, because on charity occasions like this, the vips are indoor only for five minutes to get the photo done. No need to take your coat off! And also, psychologically spoken, wrapped up in a thick coat and scarf, they may feel more safe, you don't feel the rather unpleasant reality of such a place directly under your skin.

    3. That is what I was thinking Beth. I have worked with the mentally ill and homeless for years and many feel uncomfortable among them for various reasons. Keeping a coat on is a sort of shield.

However it seems like even those in the background are in coats. Could it be cold in the shelter?

    4. A shelter should at least be warm. I think it is, let's hope the best, Diane, for those in need.

    3. Glad I can be a source of laughter to you Diane :) Perhaps it could be a quiche, I see another pie sitting at the edge of the table looks like some kind of berry pie.

Kristina if I had to choose between food or fashion....oh boy would that be a hard decision for me! A foodie fashion blog would be awesome, it would show you what's going to be the hot new trend and teach you how to bake an awesome pie!

    4. Chelsea, stay with fashion we need you here!
Life is too short to spend the time baking pies. You can always buy the pie.
      Happy eating !

    5. Kristina, I'm actually a horrible cook, so I won't be baking pies anytime soon. I'm reminded of that quote from Sex & The City by Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie "When I first moved to New York I bought Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more." Hahaha!

    7. LOL @ Kristina!

I love fashion but I admit I am huge foodie. I watch all the cooking shows. I love to cook. However, I hate to sew. Bores me to death. Though I love the Project Runway shows. They can make it and I will wear it LOL
