  4. I had to take a second look at her last pic! Glad that was a pink dress! I would love to see the Valentino coat in black also

    1. My first thought was too, goodness, overknee boots and nothing under the coat?? Did she not have time to change after a night out? Puuuh, thank god, it's a pink dress:-)) But not a good look at all.

    2. Me too! I thought she had black boots and overknee stockings, and I mistook the pink dress as her skin - which I thought was a shocking outfit. Glad to see it was a dress over normal tights; still short but ok.

  5. Dear me, why do I have to think of 'Cinderella', when I see these pictures. Being a mom myself, this makes me sick. Sophie, for heavens sake, your daughter is a teenage young lady, give her some nice age approbriate clothes, it is ok , if she does not want to be the princess ballerina fashion doll, she can stay a country girl, but at least let her cut her hair, treat her hair with some haircare and her lips with a lipbalm. Or even better, have a mother and daughter shopping/wellness day out, you need a haircut too.

And by the way, a pink minidress, high heel boots and a white coat, that doesn't even fit, are not a good choice for a racing event. Goodness gracious!

    1. I hesitated a lot on commenting on a girl in full puberty. But I fully agree, Beth. Let her wear pants and have her hair cut in pixie style. Perhaps this will make the hopeless curls disappear.

    2. Totally agree about the hair problems here. I´m a pretty no-fuss person when it comes to styling and make-up, not obsessed with hair in any way either but the negligence is so striking here that even I react. It is so sad to see that no-one in this family seems to care for their hair whatsoever.
I don´t know how old Louise is by now, but she´s definitely too old to be dress like an 7 year old girl.

    3. I looked it up - she's 13. She is dressed more like a child than a "tween" but maybe she's happy like that. I'm guessing that even her mother couldn't force her into clothes she doesn't like. At that age one's friends start to become a bigger influence.
And her hair could be improved with proper care, as Beth said.

    4. I have thought this for sometime about Louise. They seem to put no effort into her attire and hair. Her brother's jacket is far too short as well. In the photo of the Queen with great grandchildren these two looked like waifs compared to the other children. I have seen photos of Princess Margaret's granddaughter that is the same age as Louise and she always is well dressed,

    5. Great comment Beth, this young girl needs some more appropriate clothes and a nice haircut...

  6. First the leather top/jacket, now this coat or whatever it is. Two misses in a row, sorry Sophie.
And the dress is much too short for a woman in her fifties and doesn't match with her matronly hairstyle.

  7. I like Louise's coat. She has very curly hair.

    1. And now think, how nice this hair could look, if it was cut, kempt and brushed.

    2. It looks damaged and dry, which is strange in such a damp climate and on a young girl who has not bleached her hair. This what happens to over-processed hair that has had too many chemicals applied--not the case here. Very strange.

  8. I like Louise's coat better than her mother's.
The Valentino is not a flattering shape but might have looked better in black. I agree that the length is a bit too short.

  9. I agree with most of the above comments. I also wonder why the Wessexes have not had braces put on Louise's teeth. She is certainly old enough for them. It does not show in these pictures but her teeth need work. As for her hair, I agree, she needs a good cut and some conditioning. As for Sophie, the coat would look better in black but I don't care for that style at all. Her hair has needed something done to it for quite some time now. I think she keeps this style and length because it is easier for her to take care of. She looks great with her hair shorter and down.

  12. The coat on Sophie is beautiful. Wish she had chosen a dress of the same color. I think that might have looked better with the tights and boots. The length of her dress is fine no matter her age. Since her biking trek, she is in great shape with toned legs. Age is not a factor when a lady is in good shape! All the negative comments about Lady Louise are sad, but true. Sophie is one of my favorite royals, so hard-working and supports so many good causes. But I do think it is a mother's job to guide her teen daughter into wise choices for her fashion and hair. A girl should be able to decide much for herself, but needs some guidance too. Please help Louise.

  13. I like this family but on this picture it bothers me that a boy doesn't have a proper winter clothes. Father and mother are wearing coats but their son has only jacket on.

    1. And it's a strange jacket - old-fashioned, shapeless and too short.
