  1. Not my favorite jacket; but I greatly admire Princess Mette-Marit for her constant royal service to the public. According to this Blog, she has attended five different events in the past three days -- more than anyone else featured here. That says a lot.

  2. I like the look of jacket and pants, and the colours, although the jacket isn't really a good fit [it seems both tight and loose at the same time].
She does seem to work hard.

    1. With her shape, she should only wear made-to-measure jackets

  4. I think jacket is a tad to short. Rather dull. But yes she is working hard.

  5. This jacket is very nice, but don't suits her, I think.

  6. The jacket is not well cut and doesn't suit her. I mean, a short jacket with ruffles is definitely not the best choice for someone with a busty chest. Yes she does many engagements at the moment, she works hard, so wouldn't it be best, to let a stylist choose some nice clothes for her??? ....she would look much better and safe time too.

  7. Like Princess Charlene, I think Mette-Marit needs a wider cut across the upper back/shoulders and a little more room in her upper arm sleeves. A capable pattern-maker could figure out the problem and make a better basic pattern for her jackets. Her whole look would be much more flattering with correct fit. I see many women having trouble letting go of junior-size styles. You can keep a youthful look if fashions just fit you better.

    1. Good assessment. It's odd that she, or her advisors/assistants don't see that correct fit would make all the difference.
