DeleteInteresting photo. I saw elsewhere that the Queen was trying not to smile at a joke her son told her. I wish she had smiled.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Heather. Since she does not smile, it looks like he is making fun of her.
DeleteThanks for the tidbit!
DeleteLovely photo!
ReplyDeleteInteresting photo, very good lighting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture but I wish the Queen would have smile a bit, Interesting to see that the crown princes born after him have become kings and he is still in waiting.
ReplyDeletePhoto tells me, you can make jokes as many you want, what else can you do, I'll sit on this chair for another ten years...;-))
ReplyDeleteHa ha haaa! At least ten years!
DeleteThat's a good caption to the photo, Beth.
DeleteYou are right Beth! Love your comment
DeleteAs much as I love Her Majesty (grew up in Canada, a Commonwealth country), Charles will be a wonderful king and I welcome his ascent to the throne. He is a true humanitarian. I cannot imagine a worse public humiliation than what he was subjected to after the breakdown of his marriage, yet he has persevered and continues not only to love people but he spends his time and energy on helping others. His charities help thousands of people; his public appearances bring attention to so many causes. I admire him greatly.
