  1. I like this simple, understated navy number!

  2. I find it too severe, especially in that dark colour. Not flattering to her skin tone.

  5. I like her look too, very much. Look at the second picture, great figure, great posture, great legs, authentic smile. She is often critized for hair hairdo. But I like it and think she is beautiful. She represents another form of feminity, strong, smart, warmhearted, caring, 100% into her duty. Her role is different than other Crownprincesses, because she is the heir, she will be Queen of a country, she has the appearance of a stateswoman, there is no place for girlish fiddling around with hair. I remember the photos of her wedding, so regal, so strong and confident and yet a happy woman who married her prince, I will never forget how she kissed Daniel's hand and looked into his eyes, so much love, trust and gratitude, she was in my eyes the most beautiful of all royal brides ever. When I see pictures of her now, I always have these pictures in mind. She fought for her love against all odds and won, she fought down all insecurities in her personality to be ready for her duty. I have so much respect for her. She is beautiful inside and outside, she plays in another league, I never compare her to other royal ladies. She stands out in each aspect. She is one of her own.

    1. Beautiful comment! She is a role model! It is hard to be strong leader and a warm person at the same time, and to have succesfull career and a happy family. I admire people who can be that and do that!!! And still look good ;)

    2. Beth I second Lassie and say this is a beautiful comment! I agree with all you said. I do wish she would let her hair down and maybe cut it off a bit. I always think she carries herself well and she is going to be a wonderful Queen. She is raising a very wonderful little future Queen too.

She has battled her own demons and battled back which is admirable.

I like this look very much. I really love those earrings!

  6. Beth, you take the words right out of my mouth (or in this case right from my fingertips on the board). Victoria embodys true values like sincerety, loyalty, gentleness, motherhood and much more. That makes her a very beautiful woman in her own special way. She is going to be a wonderful queen!

  7. I'm sure she is a wonderful person and will make an excellent queen but I think we can still make gentle comments about her clothes choices. Maybe we should leave her hair alone. Sometimes that is a very personal choice about comfort, sensory issues etc.

    1. Yes, Heather, although I have much respect for her role, I totally find that it is allowed to make comments on her fashion choices. But here I have nothing to critisize, the dress is perfectly tailored and fits her figure perfect. Beautiful earrings also.
For the hair, I agree she could try a different style, why not, but somehow she seems to be comfortable as it is. Personal choice. Sensory issues may be a point. I used to have beautiful long brown hair with a red shine, but it was heavy and I did not like it when it touched my face, neck or shoulders. I went blonde and for an ultra short pixie cut like Charlene's - apart from a few traditionalists who think a woman should only have long hair, everbody went wow! - and I love it and am happy :-))
