  2. Ooh la la what a nice surprise!
Princess Charlene looks beautiful, love her hat and her outfit.
Beatrice Borromeo all in pale colors, perfect taste.
Princess Caroline , maybe if not that hat she would look nice.
Charlotte with sour look on her face, red coat and white shoes and red hat awful look to me.
I have no comment about Tatianna,s coat and the same goes for daughter of Princess Stephanie.

    2. Stephanie's daughter is not there. Tatiana's coat is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Andrea does look sick, Caroline and Pierre look angry, even the little kids don't look happy. What a motley crew.

  3. What a great turnout from the Monegasque royals!
Princess Charlene: I love her hat, the outfit and also the pearls.
Beatrice: Looks lovely, and she has this pregnancy glow.
Tatiana: Typical Tatiana. I quite like her shoes.
Charlotte: I thought equestriennes/equestrians tend to have great body posture. I bet Charlotte is the exception. She is a lovely lady but her posture is bad.
the kids are adorable and the rest are just meh to me.

  4. Oh my goodness did they all have an argument before the event?? They all look so grumpy. Kristina do you mean the girl in blue with black hat on?? I don't think that is Stephanie's daughter I think it is Melanie a cousin on the Grimaldi side of family. None of the outfits expect for Beatrice looks any good. Don't know what has happened to their fashion sense! I always thought they looked nice but over the last couple of years a lot of their outfits look ordinary. Charlene looks nice also.

  11. The outfits vary from lovely (Charlene and Beatrice) to incomprehensibly awful (the cousin--Melanie, I believe). The most striking overall effect to me is how miserable they look. The space between Pierre and Beatrice is marked and their expressions unhappy. Agree with Mimi about a massive argument before they came out...? I do realize that photos can catch people at off moments but I don't often get this strong an overall impression.

    1. I don't think they are unhappy people or had argument before the photo was taken, I think they just don't like to be photographed and it shows that very often on their faces.

      Delete
    2. That would actually be a better scenario, Yes, I like that, Kristina, and I hope that you are right.

      Delete
    3. Kristina, you think they do not like to be photographed? Then they are the wrong people for that job! And is not Charlotte a model?
I agree about Mimis speculation about the massive argument. I think anyway there is not much harmony in Monaco.

    4. Pierre and Beatrice are quite loving at the balcony so I don't think they are unhappy. Maybe they had to make serious expressions in the courtyard because of the ceremony at that moment. Just look at their balcony expressions, they are smiling and cuddly, they're quite happy to me.

  13. Charlene and Beatrice look OK, Kids are cute. Charlotte has far too short dress and wrong shoes to go with her bowlegs, Tatiana is out with old mattress fabric, Andreas looks like he is back with serious drugs. All those veil hats look just cheap and terrible, hats are always weak point mostly to them. I would not have picked even that hat to Charlene, but it looks still best of them.

  14. Yep Gabriella and Jacques too cute!!!

  15. Beatrice looks the best of them all! Perfect posture, flawless taste.. This family really has odd taste in fashion and sometimes their outfits don't look regal at all(not to mention Andrea's too long messy hair). Money can't buy style.
But it is nice to see a big family together, kids are cute, parents must be very happy.
Charlene looked better with longer hair!! This is not feminine..

  16. Where do I begin? This is a motely crew indeed 😨

Beatrice looks lovely and glowing.❤ Pierre needs to wash his hair. 💆

Andreas looks very sick and he needs some help 💊💉 very sad. Tatiana's face shows the strain and she looks very unhappy. But if I was wearing that coat I would also look that sad, mad, depressed and WTH is that? 😱

Stephanie and Louis are ok - meh 😐

Charlotte looks great in red but she obviously ran out the door while the hat was still being made? 😜😞 and white shoes? NO NO NO 👎👎👎

Caroline has not aged well. Too many cigarettes and sun and booze. Her daughter (her name always leaves me) is definitely a Hanover.

The twins are getting so big! So cute! ❤❤❤❤

Charlene looks beautiful here. Love all of it from head to toe ~ tres chic 😍

  17. PS

There is not much love in this group. The pictures show much tension. I think they are constantly at each other. I suspect this is part of Charlenes unhappiness at times. Imagine this kind of stress at every gathering. They always generally look like they are mad at each other. Jealousy runs deep here.

    1. Thoroughly agree with your comments that jealousy runs deeply in this family. I think this may have a lot to do with Prince Albert now having legitimate heirs.

By the way great to see Princess Charlene blossoming of late.

    2. Agreed on both comments Unknown :)

She is indeed blossoming and I suspect the others are none too happy! I say you go girl!!

    3. Nonsense. The family is normal with each other. Of course they are more stiff at the ceremony. But at the balcony they are much more relaxed. I'm really tired of this fancfiction of Caroline being some kind of evil witch.

    4. Nonsense. The family is normal with each other. Of course they have to happen to be more stiff at the courtyard ceremony, but at the balcony you see relaxed people. I would like if people would finally stop with this bs that tehy hate each other. Do you really think Albert would tolerate his sisters and families if they were that awful?

      Delete
    5. Well said, Diane. I sense you are absolutely correct in your assessment of family jealousies. Princess Charlene looks truly amazing in that outfit. She seems more and more comfortable in her own skin. The twins are such cute little tykes! And they seem quite content in their parents arms -- a good sign of hands-on parenting inside the palace walls.

      Delete
    6. Diane, you are absolutely right! I have to say I have never taken the Monaco-crowd serious. On the one hand, they stick to ridiculous traditions like only the boys can be heir, and they fake being religious catholics every now and then if there is press around. On the other hand, they produce a lot of "illegitimate" children (Albert has two).
I like looking at pictures of beauties like Charlotte (despite of her bad posture), Caroline and Beatrice and discuss their style and clothes. But regal...? No.

    7. Charlotte was supposed to be pregnant! What happened?

  18. Andrea's children always look "off" to me. Pale, pudgy, with rashes & bruises, spaced out, they do not have the look of healthy children. Andrea also always looks terrible. At least he is not giving mean stares to the cameras here.

HSH Princess Charlene is finally blossoming, she is impeccable in manner & appearance again and again, a truly royal woman!

  19. Princess Caroline looks older than her years !
I know fashion can take many a path of interpretation, but oh my, what is going on here ! If it wasn't for the saving graces of, Princess Charlene, and Beatrice, this would like a group that shopped at the local charity shop ! And hardly a smile between them !
    The twins are beautiful !

  20. I like...
Charlene´s hat. Best combination of sweet, fun, elegant, appropriate. Pearls are nice too.
    Beatrice. Everything about her look.
Alexandra. Great colour. Turning into an elegant young lady.
    Tatiana´s new hair cut.
    Charlotte´s red coat.
    Don´t like:
Caroline´s and Charlotte´s hats with that massive amount of fake veil. That´s just ridiculous, looks like the designer gave up half-way through.
    Charlotte´s skirt and shoes. Inappropriate.
Tatiana´s entire outfit. That lady´s taste doesn´t compute with me.
Caroline´s outfit´s proportions (jacket too short, skirt too long) and her choice of accessories.
The entire sight of what I believe is Camille (in purple). Shocking.
    Andrea´s and Pierre´s hair situation.
Charlene´s coat - which (although nice as such) is too sombre for the occasion, too much black (given the black top, black tights, black shoes) and has too short sleeves.

  28. I am just wondering where are all the bad mouth people who crucified Princess Charlene and Prince Albert. Actually called Princess Charlene an alien etc. On this blog again all the speculations on this family. You do not know this family and pay too much attention to tabloid papers' gossiping. Princess Charlene look beautiful, chic, stylish and appropriate dressed for the occasion. The colour of her outfit fits the occasion. I think some of the people giving their OPINION on this blog must really go for mental treatment. OPINIONS you want to make FACTS. With these comments I can really understand why people don't want to come to this blog.

    2. Anna-Marie this blog is very calm and not nasty. We went through a time when we were biting at each other here but we have apoligized and get along here. It is a fashion blog we are giving our views. None of it is personal against any of them. You should not take it personally either.

Now if you want to read some really vile blogs that pretty much crucify the subject I can name a few. But this blog is not nasty to the royals. There is always a few who like to stir the pot. Usually in an attempt to rile all of us up. We know who most of them are and we ignore or call them out. But to say that someone needs mental treatment is not nice or a FACT. Calm down 🙄

  30. Charlene is just perfect. Breathtaking. I like Beatrice's look too and this sounds crazy but I quite like Tatiana's too. Not a big fan of her shoes but I understand her coat is rather high(er) fashion piece than a simply elegant one. The haircut was without any doubt a great and timely idea. Chanel or not, I don't like Caroline's suit and Charlotte looks somehow strange too. Ugly shoes, they don't go well with the sea of red of the rest of her outfit.
As for their behavior... The only person I see some issue with is Andrea. He really looks like he's going mad. Strange faces, strange posture, strange everything. Pierre just looks like he doesn't give a sh*t. Caroline and Charlotte always had this expression, chin up, lips tightly closed, giving the evil eye: it's their trademark face, I don't think it means any previous fights or family tension.
To be absolutely honest, I don't see any particular sign of any tension. I bet they have their differences but nothing more than in any regular family. They aren't like the rest of the european royal families. Their principality is so much smaller with so much less to do than any other monarchy and Albert effectively runs the country, he decides on things QEII or the other monarchs never had the chance to decide and will never have. There might be differences between some members of the family, there were rumours Caroline didn't find Charlene suitable for the role but let's face reality: Caroline's own life and at least two of her children's aren't the shiny examples of a decent royal life conducted according to customs and tradition so she's probably not in the position of telling off Albert. And as for being "bad catholics", they might be, but at least in their family if a child is to be born then that child will come to this world - unlike in Spain where the current queen didn't keep at least one child she was pregnant with before her wedding to Felipe and was openly atheist yet she did go through the religious ceremony in a church, saying the catholic wows and everything.
I guess being a good catholic, christian, budhist or whatever is just not as black and white as comfortable it would be to see it.

  31. 20's , 30's style returning. I think the event is somber, thus the serious faces, but not sure. I think the young men/princes look very charming in their evening (?) suits!
