  3. A cape disguised as a coat? A coat imitating a cape? This thing is an abomination.

    1. Abomination?

The word is defined as a thing that causes hate or disgust. A disgrace a horror an obscenity

Never met anyone who made such a silly comment about a piexe of clothing. Seriously Shellsea?

It is very popular right now. I personally have 4 Ruana's which are essentially a cape/poncho/coat and they are fabulous to wear. No abomination.

Your comment is ridiculous. Your word is misused. Try again.

I think she looks lovely and I like the entire outfit.

    2. Diane, this coat/cape raises physically my hackles. Maybe I don't like clothes pretending to be what they are not. A belted coat? Great - it shows a strict (strak) silhouette and would flatter Mathilde's height. A cape? Swirling cloth elegantly tossed over one shoulder, covering a more strict silhouette (see Maxima). Both together? No-no-no, never, jamais!
If my word is misused, blame it on English literature overload. "Ridiculous" comment? I really do think this coat is a horror (capes, complete with lapels and breast pockets? Huh, no..
I should have known better than to criticize Saint Mathilde -- my bad..

    3. Never called her a Saint. I personally do not elevate any of them to that level. They are just human like the rest of us. I do not play favorites. I call it like I see it!

You have your opinion I just found your comment.... odd. Abomination? Alrighty then 😐😥

  5. The dress, the fabric, plus her hairstyle, plus the pointed shoes look very fities. I would like to see a more modern style on her. She often wears clothes, that don't properly fit. Maybe it is not easy to dress her, because of her length. The length of this dress is perfect, but where is her waistline? The belt is too low.

    1. @ Beth, first time in my life I hear that it is hard to dressed someone because of their height.
She has good figure and all her clothes are in fashion.
