Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at Glostrup city in order to attend the events relating to the 825th anniversary of establishment of Glostrup city on August 27, 2016. In 2016, Glostrup municipality celebrates the 825th anniversary of its establishment. Glostrup municipality holds several events for that anniversary. A music festival is being held on August 27 and 28 in Glostrup Stadium.
